Hey guys, just wanted to reach out to the JK family and along with Tobys massage let everyone know how life in JK land is at the moment!
getting settled in LA took a couple of weeks to set ourselves up, but when we finally moved into the JK house in North Hollywood things have been moving forward nicely for everyone!
Playing the 'Quart Festival' in Norway was a massive highlight for us,everything that we expected out of this trip happened. For me personally it was amazing playing on the same bill as Slash,Fergie,Ozzy Osborne etc...but having played the same stage as the man 'Ronnie Wood' was an amazing experience for me!!
So getting back to LA i have been keeping myself busy and have been playing with other people when i'm not in JK mode.I have been doing a few gigs with a Aussie singer called 'Yasmine Derra', she is more of a Jazz,blues singers, She has a great voice and has been alot of fun!! I've also started hanging out with another Aussie 'Brett Collins' from his band 'Iris' and we are gonna start doing a couple of acoustic gigs which will also be fun as he has some great songs and is a cool dude!!
And the best part of everything that is happening at the moment is I have my beautiful wife 'Lucy' here with me which has just been great,she is having a great time here and i know she ain't gonna wanna leave!! the sad thing about everything is i'm missing my little girl(my dog!) 'Sunny Winters' so much!! also i'm missing my parents,my sister and my little nephews 'caleb' and 'conner' who are growing up so quickly!!!

Juke Kartel are playing the 'Viper Room' on 20th July, this is going to be a big gig for us so anyone that can come to the show shouldn't miss this one!!

I hope this message from me finds that everyone is happy and healthy and can't to see you all at a gig soon!!!

its great Lucy has been able to get over there to see you... Sad that she has to leave & that you are missing everyone though :(
But it sounds like you have been keeping yourself real busy & its great that you & Brett are gonna get together to do some stuff.. ♥ Brett... fantastic that you guys have all caught up over there...would make being away from home a bit easier..
I hear Brett's doing a gig at the Viper room tonight..thats great news for him :)
