So gig number 1 of 3 began badly a clothing malfunction before I'd left the house, Stone Parade cancel their next two gigs due to illness and then I poked myself in the eye with my eyeliner :uhoh: but my mood had lifted greatly when I met up with my road trip galpals it really is hard to stay grumpy with them around :flirt: and no Lorena I don't want a corn chip lol and reversing up an exit lane has a way of making you forget your worries :gigg:

We arrived at the Torquay Hotel only to be lined up in army fashion only 1 person at a time was allowed in to then be photographed, id checked and stamped and god forbid you didnt stand on the black feet printed on the floor :LMAO:

I wasn't expecting a large crowd for a Thursday but all things considered it wasn't the smallest crowd I've seen at a JK gig and it was great to see some of the usual suspects :)

The gig was good the boys were having lots of giggles on stage especial when someone threw a bag of bras and undies up (not quite sure why) without a blink of an eye both Toby and Tommy put on a bra each, Todd wore one as a necklace and Jaybro's drum kit was drapped with undies compliments of Mr Rand oh and I can't forget that bridget Jones undies that Toby picked up and tied to his mike stand :gigg:

Just a quick review from me as I'm child free for a couple of hours and I'm going to go have a nanna nap so I'm all rested for night 2 :wave:

OMG are you serious about the final show??? I thought the last Melbourne show was at The Espy next Friday so we flying over!!! :-( I know they've got shows after but thought this was final Melb show!!! Oh well, I don't think finances will quite stretch to 2 visits to Melb!

I am very sad for all of you that they are leaving Aus.. but secretly so excited for me.. maybe a show is in my future.... and of course it means big things and world domination for Juke Kartel!!!!!! :)

:) I know Kim world domination is what stops me from having a complete melt down its just saddens me that finally I have a band I love that is so accessible gig wise and they are leaving :sob: I guess it means I'll just have to save my pennies and visit the US shores again :gigg:

So I'll be living through all the US guys and girls so make sure when they tour you all post reviews and pics :flirt:
