So Lana and I went for a drive last night and ended up in byron bay!!! Gig was fantastic as always. Not a huge crowd but the people that did come rocked the house!. Toby was on form, Dale, Todd and tommy all rocked it and Jay was brilliant. Tommy even did a special little song....not quiet sure what it was about but it was hillarious.
Didnt take any pics but I am sure that everyone else will be able to post up some awesome shots.

Sounds great Anita...I do have a funny mental image of you and Lana casually driving along all tra-la-la and when OH...fancy that...you're at the front of the stage hehe
Well done girls! Glad you made it. Sounds like fun

Was that the baa baa black sheep song Nita? I woke up at 3am for some reason and used my phone to see to go to the toilet and I had a voicemail from Meg! It was TIA with baa baa black sheep thrown in and then I heard a fucking fag or something on the end...then it cut out! haha

Hmmm...Tommy seems to have a strange facination with childrens songs...I recall a lot of hot potato during the December instores
Did anyone take any pics?

Its fairly random. They even dance :gigg:...although Tommy's voice is way too seductive for kids music...maybe he can specialise in ladies with weird fetishes...lol
What an awesome gig!! oh and Toby jumped off the stage asking me if I was ready to sing.. I had to do the da da da da during My Baby :swoon:
The pea song and baa baa black sheep were a highlight (tommy was on fire) :gigg:

I enjoyed this gig. The actual venue looks great & the stage is huge but apparently it's always hard to fill (I guess the backpackers from the summer had gone home & the local hippies don't get out much!). Kat & I both spent time that afternoon getting flyers distributed, but as Kat used to live in Byron Bay, she predicted that no matter what we did it'd be very hard to fill that venue. - Jaybro even mentioned to me before the gig that he was disappointed with the empty room, but I said to him to try & somehow pretend the room was full & play just like he would if it was, & it seems he did just that because Jay & the whole band were awesome.
Stone Parade were great. - This was the 1 day of the 5 that the SP boys had more rest time than JK who had double the journey time from Coffs Harbour, due to a 2 hour detour via Grafton for a radio interview. - The SP boys seemed very relaxed on stage despite the small crowd.
Meg singing with Toby was cool to see & Tommy's song was quite funny!
Setlist for Byron Bay:
Scars
Innocence
December
Then She Said
My Baby
Throw It Away
Sublime Truth
If Only
On Fire
What You Gonna Do
Save Me
As I said, JK were fantastic, but for me on this particular night the star of the show was Lenny Ramp on lights. There were more lights than usual for Lenny to play with & he made the show look spectacular. It's a shame there weren't more people there to see it. He was very proud of himself later that night & the next day & so he should be! - As a result, once I get the pics up, this lot will probably be the best pics of the 5 shows.
This is the one I wish I made it to :(
So so hard touring with a family..
haven't broke the news yet hehe

The Byron gig was definately the highlight of the 5 gigs for me also.. Tommy sang baa baa black sheep and Todd was going sing Pea Tommy said this is going to sound so f@#$n gay and sang the first verse. The lights were brilliant Lenny did an awesome job.
In case anyone on here doesnt know Pea is by Red Hot Chilli Peppers sung by Flea.
