I didn't go because Freo is about 3 hours away! I would have (especially since they got on stage at 8.30) but it was too far to travel on a Sunday night when I'd be working the next day!

The Newport wasn't a free show, the only one that was, was Bunbury! Apparently the pre-ticket sales weren't so good, so the owner decided to make it free a few days before.....

Anyways my review of the Newport gig.....

Apart from being very tired from 1. Lack of sleep from Friday night and 2. Driving to and from Bunbury (Aprrox 2 and 1/2 hours each way) I was a little nervous about going to this gig, as I had had so-called friends embarass the F*&K out of me with the JK boys at the Bunbury show and I was mortified that it would reflect badly on me, lucky the boys are such beautiful people they were cool and I was MASSIVELY relieved and could get on with enjoying the show.

I had convinced quite a large group of people to come with me to the show (got bigger every night!!) so there was 15 of us that showed and more than 1/2 of these people had never heard JK before. And let me tell you by the end, if they hadn't bought their CD at the gig they have now downloaded the album!! YAY!!!!! And one of the guys that came lives in Broome, they get so many bands up there (Presets, Potbelleez and Sneaky Sound just recently) and he reckons JK had the best stage presence and best sound he'd heard in a long time!!! And really enjoyed the show.

The boys came out with everything that they could possibly give, great show, funny bantering back and forth between them all and just an all out f&*'n awesome show. When Toby jumped down to sing "Throw It Away" he grabbed a friend of mine who is a MASSIVE fan, I thought the poor girl was going to faint or burst with excitement or perhaps both! LOL

Toby made reference to the previous night show being like a "Lounge Room" performance and said that tonights show was more like a "Backyard Barbie" to which quickwitted Tommy added "The snags are out the back" PMSL!!!!

Again it was all over to quickly, by this stage I knew that this was it, No more JK gigs in Perth, all 3 were over and I don't know if I can explain just how I felt, but I am sure some of you have felt it before. :(

Photo Op time and time to chat with the boys, Tommy, Toby, Todd and Jay were there but not quite sure where Dale was, As usual they were all happy to have a photo and a chat and meet my friends that I had bought and my sister, the boys had met my nephew and niece at the Airport on the Thursday so they were as chatty as anything to my sis (and she loved it) But I'm still sending my nephew to live with his biggest Idol Tommy!!!! He LLOOVVEESS Tommy!!! So so cute. Anyways I am getting off track.....

So that's it. Over, Finished, Finito! But wait..................I can't wait god knows how long to see them again.... so.... Me and Shaz and another friend are flying over to Melbourne for the show at the ESPY on Friday 8th May and I am so so excited!!!

So that was my take on the whole JK weekend, best weekend I have had in a long time, even if Toby and I didn't get our Tattoos together :sob:

For f*cks sake! I brought the goddamn ticket for Bunbury! Shit! It does explain why no one checked the ticket or my ID! Who were the embarrasing friends and the Bunbury gig? I was probably watching them all night!

Alex, my embarassing friends weren't the young ones with the chairs luckily. We were sitting to the left of the stage b4 they came on.
But I am thinking was it you that helped me move all the chairs from the front of the stage when the girls walked away for a min?????
