Hey everyone, on a last minute rush I had to attend the festival...such a hardship...not lol!
Sorry I haven't posted, I only got home today and have stacks to do. Just wanted you all to know how wonderfully the guys were on the day. They really got the crowd moving and Toby was up to his stunts again, climbing the side frame right to the top and hanging up there singing Throw It Away. My heart was in my throat for him....it was too too high this time! I videoed it but haven't loaded or had it approved so it may take a while until you see it if it is permitted. Once I get organised I will post up stills for you, waiting for my camera batteries to charge in order to load them onto my pc. Set list is a blur but I recall If Only, TIA, Whatchya Gonna Do, December, Save Me. The boys played for about 40 mins and after that had the evening to relax to a whole stack of other bands....by far not as good as JK and I'm saying that in all honesty!
The festival itself made the SA newspapers next day...albeit negatively. The crowd later on that night got a bit rowdy and broke through the barricades, injuring several girls in the legs in the process. I was back a bit so didn't see the effects of it all....was too busy soaking up the amazing evening with the balmy weather.
One drawback....fine, silt-like dust everywhere!! My car is still smothered in it haha. It got up our noses, in our ears and God knows where else hehe
Awesome day for JK and one of the best times I've had ever!

The festival definately has gotten some negative press for being poorly organised, glad it didnt affect the boys at all and they were well recepted (that's a word right? lol)

He seems to climb higher and higher everytime, I was shitting myself for him at the GP when he climbed the speakers and asked one lonesome guy to hold it! Just as well OHS weren't there!
He actually wanted to go out on that arm bit and lie down!!! Thank goodness he didn't lol!
And yeah, Don....you know me so well hehe.

That's one of my favourites too, Nikki. Love the warmth in their smiles....they were in such a great mood....was a fun day!
