No pics from me, sorry...
But I am happy to report that last night's "intimate" performance was hot hot hot.
I know I say it every single time, but I think it was my favourite yet...Purely for the selfish reason that it was a small venue. I am sure the other girls will post LOADS of photos. I checked them out at breakfast and there are some worth stealing that is for sure....
If this is how the tour starts, I can't even begin to think how totally f**king awesome things are gonna be in a few weeks time...
I grabbed the album and played it over and over driving home. It's better than I could imagine.
Enough gushing. I need to go and memorize all those new lyrics to sing LOUD tomorrow night at the Gaelic Club!
Great meeting you last night Gemma! Loved watching your hair flicking competition with Todd!! lol! I think I even have some of that on video - so hopefully I can find some way to get it from my mobile phone to here once Harvey's had a look & OK'd it. I'm sure someone else will post pics & reviews on Sunday when everyone's back home...

Was at this one too..fucking rocked!! Toby and the boys were on fire..
Witnessed a fight was a classy joint, also some drunkeness antics :whist: after the show..was bloody hilarious..(what happens on tour stays on tour)

But yes, as my first show since the instores I was pumped! With the help of several drinks we got right in front (it was that close I hit Tommy's mic stand whilst rocking out!)
Very classy place, fights involving chairs, some choice karoke and lovely dancing had by all!!!

I forgot about that fight. I only saw the after-effects as I was sitting facing the other direction in the beer garden, but I remember Tommy's face after he saw the fight. It was 15 minutes before JK were meant to be on stage & Tommy was saying he wanted to get a drink at the bar on his way to the stage, but we couldn't work out whether the fight was finished yet or not! He didn't want to get clocked by a flying chair on the way to the stage & I don't blame him!! - & I remember when I was first chatting to you girls & Harvey in the room upstairs a couple of hours before the gig, & that old bloke that had been staying there for a few months walked past the room & said "this is a very different room" & one of you asked why & he said "because normally in these rooms all you see is people having fights!". VERY classy place! NOT! - I liked the actual room the guys were playing in though. - It was very intimate & didn't look like it belonged as part of the rest of that pub!
Each gig had it's own uniqueness for me.
I loved Wollongong - because it was the 1st time I got to see a full live JK show & got to meet the Stone Parade boys for the first time! (even though the venue itself was a hole! I was talking to Tommy before the gig & he said "I can't believe we are playing in this hole!" & he was definitely talking about the venue, not the town (which is beautiful) - there's much better venue's in Wollongong, so hopefully next time they'll be able to play at one of those!). I think the boys were a bit happier as a few more people started showing up.
I loved Wyong - for it's intimacy - & for getting to hear "On Fire" for the 1st time ever (I had the album by that stage but nothing to play it on yet). What an awesome song!
I loved Newcastle - because my sole focus was rockin' out & celebrating for album release day & also Toby loving the fact there were a bunch of blokes rockin' & singing along up front.
I loved the Gaelic Club - for reasons I've already said on that particular thread. - It was simply incredible.

I would say Wyong was my fave out of the 3...not just because of JK but just the whole thing. I was so pumped cuz I hadnt seen them play for awhile. It was a crazy arse local that we could have a good dance after and not worry what we looked like! We got to chill at the bar chatting with the boys earlier in the day...and afterwards we sat outside in the beer garden for hours just talking crap

(Nothin' bad at all, just a bunch of girls havin' fun! - The only scary bit is, as I believe you girls have named him on Facebook, "Ze dickwad!!" hehe - because he was standing right in front of Toby, I couldn't keep him out of the videos!! Oh & Gemma's hair flicking comp with Todd is fantastic! That was such a great night).

If you look a little closer it becomes clear that it is just the unfortunate reflection of the spotlight and Toby need not worry about hats for hopefully some years yet...... ;)
