Alright.. Here goes for next newsletter...
Hey street teamers.. Whats Up!!!!!!
Well again a massive thank you to everyone who has been busting their chops for us we truly appreciate it!! You have all exceeded our expectations and we are stoked with the job you have done to date...
For all those that have been giving us preesies.. thank you, that is very generous and hopefully we repay your faith and belief in us by puuting on the damn best rock show in town.. We love playing on this tour and it has been a blast.. I know we only get the chance to play for 20 minutes, but those twenty minutes can convert someone who knew nothing about the band, which is basically everyone!!! to someone who is a true fan and really is excited for us and are looking forward to the album... i think after this tour is done we will have played to close to over 200,000 people, which in itself for an unsigned band is out of this world...
We have had some crazy times and parties as well on this tour and hanging with Lukas, to Tommy Lee, to Dave Navarro is just unbelievable.. i mean we are playing and hanging with guys that were our heroes growing up and that is unreal!!! WOO HOOO.. And they are just absolute legends and have treated us so well and invited us to be a part of the experience....
We cannot describe how excited we are to get back home and play for our fans back home.. To the OZ street teamers, i know you will kick arse!!! Go and get 'em!!!!
We believe as a band the best way to become part of this whole mayhem, is to become part of the street team.. to all the Icelandic, Canadian, US and OZ street team you grow everyweek!!! We have also decided that the best way to make it even more intimate is for it to be a user based site, where everyone can log in and go crazy!!!
We also wanted to touch on a few basic rules for street teaming... The street team is fully endorsed by us and is the only official way to promote us..So join up and be a part of the team.. All promotional ideas and event planning must go through the street team, we have had a few hassles on this tour about what I term "rogue" street teaming...guys and girls no one is more important than another street teamer, whether it be a leader, a new member or whoever.. There are rules and guidelines for street teaming simply cos anyone could just go out on their own pretending to be a part of it and actually do more harm than good...
So here are the basics...
1. Everthing must be approved by the region leader and Kelley and Tina and ME!!
2. Venues can only be contacted by the leader of the region, Kelley and Tina or ME!!!
3. Enjoy it!!! I always come out and say hello to you all, cos i truly appreciate your work!!!
I Oversee all this work as firstly am truly blessed with your hard work and i like things to run smoothly.. And secondly we all want the same goal, for Juke Kartel to continue rocking out to the whole damn PLANET!!!!
So to you all, I look forward to seeing you all and meeting you all... Also the issue with the signings at the merch tent is completely out of our hands.. We love signing all the merch and meeting you all.. But each and every gig is different and we only get told on the night whether we can do it or not... So to anyone who has missed out, we apologize and we will make up for it on our next tour...We will be back in the American summer and will be going everywhere.. But firstly we are super excited about our Tour with Supernova back home and then our own tour in April/May...
To all the street teamers who have been voting for throw it Away on Nova in Australia, you have totally been amazing and have blown their emails away and they have said they have never had this response and that is all you guys and girls that made this possible... THANK YOU! THANK YOU!!!!
We will see you all very soon and to our beautiful country back home, look out we are going to cause absolute mayhem and want to blow the roof off every gig back home!!!! We are super proud to be Aussies....
