I'm pretty sure the guys have only been onstage for 40 mins if they were running to schedule. They were on at 9:30 LA time and it's now 10:10 pm LA time

I just got back to my hotel room after hanging out with some of the Street Team Girls after the show. What can I say? This was my first JK show, and the boys were beyond brilliant. I think they played for just over an hour, and I couldn't belive it was over when they finished. I just want to go back and hear the songs over and over and over again. Here's the set list:

I have to apologize because I'm not sure anything I've written is remotely coherent due to the number of vodka and cranberry juices I've had to drink. But, I'm too excited to go to sleep, even though I have to catch a flight back home to Chicago in a few hours.
It was great meeting the girls, and I have to give a special shout out to Joyce, my street teaming buddy, and to Steph, who made sure that not only did I meet Toby but that he knew that I flew in from Chicago just to see the band. I got my first pictures with Toby, and completely melted when he insisted that my first hug wasn't "tight enough" and that I had to put down my drink and give him a better hug. Sigh. Stick a fork in me. I'm done.

I hear the room was quite full from the eyes of a source there. Which is great that the word got out on the streets well done everyone...
Hopefully the boys will be alright for their photo shoot with our friend Cheryl who runs www.rockbandlounge.com tomorrow She will be sending the photos over in a couple of days she always takes great photos so look forward to them up here shortly.

Awesome show - the Troub was packed!
Dale remembered me by name and the fact that I was there when he broke his leg. I'm happy that he remembers me... a bit sad that its related to something bad.

Ok, I know I dont ever post on here and feel wierd doing it because I dont really know any of you but.............................I do know how we all LOVE seeing Pictures of the boys. So Im here to share.
First can I start by saying JUKE KARTEL KICKS MAJOR ASS!!!!!!! I almost forgot how good they are, its been so DAMN LONG!!! They really know how to put on a show!!! The new songs are KILLER!!!! And of course TIA got the crowd going!!!
Toby did all the little things he always does at shows. He grabbed someones camera and took crowd shot..... He leaned down and let the girls sing with him. He even leaned down and kissed one of the girls. Im sure you all know her. Im sorry I dont know anyones names. She was right smack in front taking TONS of pics...Im sure she will be here to share............He climbed up on the side poles. There was one fan way up on balcony with a home made JK blanket, he went up there while singing TIA and gave her a hug. I have a little video of it. I will post it here. Dale sang a song....I have a lil vid of that too. And of course after the show the boys hung around and greeted EVERYONE!!!! I got to talk to all of them and get hugs!!! I am so disapointed tho, I took so many damn pics of the show I had no battery left for pics of aftershow. I got ONE pic with Toby and then it died :-( I gave him a cool bottle of jager. Im pretty sure he liked it. lol Man they are the coolest bunch of guys!! And they ROCK!!!!!!!

Oh ya, one of the videos are so funny, Toby is such a TEASE,,, you know how he always pulls the bottom of his shirt up while singing (V Shot) .....he knows exactly what hes doing. hahah .....he comes up to the girls does it and the girls go nuts screaming he smiles. Its funny. I will post it for ya.

One of the girls Toby kissed is the other Steph - I met her for the first time last night. That girl knows how to party. And yep - she took a ton of pics!

The last time I saw JK at the Troub (over 2 years ago!) they were strict on cameras - confiscated mine at the door so I didn't even try to bring it last night.
Little did I know they were more strict on bringing in gum??? I had to throw away a brand new pack. Crazy!

Well, I think I can safely say that we partied like a rockstar. My hubby and I got there around 7:30 and got in at 8 pm. We went straight up to the balcony on the first row. I kept trying to wave at the boys when they were in the sound room, but they didn't see me. But boy was I trying. I'm lighting up my cell phone and waving to get their attention, but to no avail. Opening band started...not bad...didn't catch their name. But ofcourse, all time I'm watching the sound room and still trying to get the boys attention. After the opening band played, there was intermission time, to get their band gear out and let the boys set up. I tried taking pictures from where I was, but with the lighting issues and being farther up, most of the pics are dark. I was too far away to have the flash on, so I depended on the lighting and just kept clicking away hoping I'd get a good shot somehow. The fan JKJenn was talking about was me. I had made them a crocheted banner with JK on it and flames on both sides to mimic the wings on their logo. I was practically hanging off the railing trying to get the boys to see the banner. My poor husband had to sit real low to somehow get the banner to hang over the railing and held on for dear life....for I would have killed him if he had dropped it. Toby finally saw it and went up the railings to get to me and my husband for a great hug. (thank God he has good balance, I surely would have fallen off). He had not recognized me from the stage and only realized it was me when he got closer. (I've grown my hair out and wasn't wearing eyeglasses). By then I was on cloud 9 and couldn't stop smiling. After the show, the boys came down to meet and greet and I got kissies from everyone, even Jaybro whom I just met. We hung around a bit, met them at the Saddleback Ranch after the show with the streetteam girls. I got to talk to Toby for quite some time. He is such a darling and I couldn't stop hugging all of them and kept telling them that I was so happy they're here. But the night had to end. Bars close at 2 am in Cali. So we said our goodbyes.
I was so happy to meet some of the streetteam gals. I think I might have made a new friend, Shari from Kansas. Saw a bunch of old timers, like Rose, Diva, and Stephanie. And finally met our leader, Joyce, just for a bit.
Overall, it was a hell-of-a-great night for me....that I will cherish forever. I will try to post what salvagable pics I have, but I too, must figure out how to do it.

OH NO!!!!! That is a Bummer!!! I parked accross from Troub. It was $10.. When I went inside and saw my niece, she said they found free parking down the way and I was bummed I paid $10. Then this morning she text me and said they ended up getting a $68 Ticket. I guess my $10 bucks wasnt so bad.

LOL I guess they thought the same thing as we did. We thought the sign said that it was okay to park from 10pm-2am. That's usually how it works, or so we thought. Our ticket was $38. This was at the Saddle Ranch. We even walked quite a ways to get there too. Oh well. From now on, I'm putting quarters in the meter. = )

Wow...just...WOW! It looks like everyone had an amazing night. So happy you guys finally got to see the boys and by the sounds of it they were in fine form as usual (although I think people will stop building rigs near Toby cos he's become a little monkey boy). Really wish I could have planned my USA trip earlier so I could have been there with you...hopefully later in the year :)
Ok...now I'm ridiculously excited for when they come back home

Alright...I'm home and completely exhausted! But what an absolutely amazing trip!! Last night was unbelievable! Yes, i got the stage kiss.....OMG!!!!!! Yes, my hand and camera will be in like every picture posted. Can't help it I was frickin' pumped!!! Toby even mentioned something about it after the show......can't remember exactly how he worded it to me but it was something like "You were so fun up there". I couldn't barely compose myself.....probably the 13 or so Vodka Crans I had.lol
Got up this morning with the worst hangover i've had in a long time and I'll tell you what...it was worth every minute.
I will do more of a recap/review a little later and post my pics too! I neep a friggin' nap!!
Where's Joyce???? I want to hear her stories! Sounds like a blast girls! Wish i could have been there! So glad they were able to make it back to the US and warm you ladies up!!! xoxo MUAH!

Alright...I'm home and completely exhausted! But what an absolutely amazing trip!! Last night was unbelievable! Yes, i got the stage kiss.....OMG!!!!!! Yes, my hand and camera will be in like every picture posted. Can't help it I was frickin' pumped!!! Toby even mentioned something about it after the show......can't remember exactly how he worded it to me but it was something like "You were so fun up there". I couldn't barely compose myself.....probably the 13 or so Vodka Crans I had.lol
Got up this morning with the worst hangover i've had in a long time and I'll tell you what...it was worth every minute.
I will do more of a recap/review a little later and post my pics too! I neep a friggin' nap!!

Wow!! thanks for all the reviews,pics and vids it's almost like being there!! Sounds like everyone had a kick ass time! And what's that they're gonna be at the hardrock now...geez I really need to move to the west coast.
Sorry I am late to the party here gals. I was getting sick day of the show and made it through with Dayquil shots and tons of alcohol and am now sicker and feeling cruddy but what a fun night it was.
It was so great to meet all the new gals and to hang with the usual suspects again--like a US gals reunion. The boys were on fire--they do so much justice to those songs in a live setting. Thats what they do best. It was so so good to see them again--just brilliant. And you know what? They are just beautiful people too. Love those boys!
I have no pics to share--was too concerned I'd get my camera taken away and turns out they only wanted to take away our chewing gum--too wierd! Love all the pics so far--great jobs to the girls with cameras!
I so hope we can do this all again someday soon! XO

Thankyou to all the people that went to the show its fantastic reading all these posts. I know it was a long wait but it seems the boys made up for it. This show was a special show and the positive vibe from this gig pushed the boundaries in so many ways. Thanks to everyone that went helped and supported the band on the re-invasion of JK into the mighty United States of America. 2009 is shaping up to being the bands biggest year.. Rock on EVERYONE!!!!

No need for thanks, Joyce. We all are here to help and I'm happy to see our work paid off and got the numbers to the show. The guys themselves worked hard for this one so it was a cumulative effort on all fronts. We are a JK Team :)

Great effort for on ground work, Joyce and everyone who hit the pavement handing out the flyers. It can be a tiring job especially when your focus is on the excitement of the coming show.
The guys are very fortunate and grateful for all the help given.

OMG I arrived back home yesterday and have been chomping at the bit to get on here and check out the pics and reviews. I was so close to going to the show but I couldn't get a flight back in time for something we had already booked for. Rosie and I were going to fly from New York to LA catch the gig and then fly back to New York only to fly home from New York 2 days later :gigg: a moment of insanity me thinks but sadly the flights weren't playing nice so it was a no goer.
