Hey there. Home from Nunawading! A BRILLIANT Day.

Day started with lunch at Macca'a with Kel, Bec, Denise and Mands. :wub:
(were my kids began to run "ferel")

We Headed across to JB about 1.30pm. We did our best to do a bit of street teaming, but as JB is located in a "Home Centre" our "target group" were few and Far between.

There were a few Hang overs, Toby being one of them. The sunglasses did not come off till almost the end of the Last song (Save Me) in fear of scaring the children with his blood shot eyes :scared:

The turnout was great (Bec said it was probably the most she had seen out of all the Vic Instores) The guys had the crowd rocking. Toby let the "F" word slip once or twice and applogised to the little ears :blush:

Harvey announced That JK would be "opening" for the Melb Grand Prix on the Friday night!! :squee::squee: I am guessing with the "Who"

So sorry you couldn't make it Fee and Mark.(we missed you!) Fee, all that singing on the road trip must have caught up with you! Hope you get better soon!

Kel, I and my boys were standing outside near the door of the Centre Today. Toby walked by and gave Kel and I a hello Kiss and a gave my boys a High five! Now this is were kids can get you into trouble.... Luke told my husband that Toby gave me a Kiss, On The Lips!!! I would love to say that happened but it was a kiss on the cheek! I almost choked on my dinner!

Alright so this was the first show I haven't taken pics at...so I'm stealing everyone elses.

Nikki you summed it up perfectly. Maccas was a great little trip down memory lane and just an awesome time to catch up and chat with everyone. Bec I hope that bruise heals up quick...ferel bitches those girls were.

It was a great performance, even if the boys just wanted to crawl into a dark hole and go to sleep (and even a few of the girls...). The heat definitely didn't keep the people away and even without being able to give out too many cards we still had to wait in the line for AGES to get things signed. Special mention for Todd who stayed to sign every last cd even when he was running late for an 'appointment'...there was a moment where I swear he said he was heading to Phillip Island though...dogdgy? Maybe.

Thanks Denise for calling Fee for me...I panicked when I realised I had no reception...and for my lovely pic compilation with the boys...they were very impressed :gigg:

Cd's were nearly sold out when we got to the table. Another great effort by the boys. Shazza they were appalled that you have nothing signed by them.

Side note: The Who is actually playing on the Sunday to close the Grand Prix...but shall we all get our tickets soon??

it was great catching up with everyone yesterday & having a catchup at maccas, as we dont normally get to have a chat at the shows.

i would say it was probably the best turnout from the instores in vic.

i think for the gp, a ga ticket should get us to the show ..the tickets for the friday at the gp are $50 approx

Oh of Coarse Adelle, you have such an amazing Talent in Graffic Design. In all Honesty and no offence to who designed The Cover for "Save Me" I LOVE the December cover so much better. I said to some of the girls on Saturday, how I loved the Red touch to Toby's Hair. I love the "angry" clouds... OK I am being "verbose" now...lol...But I do love it!

Hey everyone, sorry ive been awol, weve had a flat out week here!
I didnt make it to Nunawadding :( My mum was having her 50th that night and sprung on us the day before that we were in charge of decorating the place...she knew i was meant to go to an instore (although I dont think she has any idea what that means lol) so I wasnt really happy :(

I also wanted to apologise for anyone who saw me loitering at the Ballarat and Geelong Instores/gigs. I was there for them all but was with my best friend who wasnt feeling 100% so I didnt want to leave her or drag her about too much. It also took me until about an hour into the Geelong gig to work out who was actually who (I think I may have had too much to drink at the Ballarat one lol).
Id half figured out that you girls were the jk gals and a few of the faces were familiar from the quick facebook looks I had had, but I couldnt for the life of me remember who was who and didnt want to walk up like an idiot and introduce myself to the wrong people!!!
Im really sorry for being so rude (although it wasnt intentional) and I honestly feel like a twit now because I should have just risked looking like an idiot and said hi to some of you! Next time I promise!!

They were such amazing gigs I was just blown away, i got in huge amounts of shit with hubby because I was meant to come home Sat during the day, but swung past Geelong on the way home for the instore and then ended up staying to watch the Stone Parade boys before leaving.. I did call him to let him know but he wasnt at all impressed..oops lol

Those two bands together absolutely rocked, I really hope JK choose SP to do more gigs with as they worked really well together I think! Im totally in love with the SP boys, those guys are amazing beyond words :)

Anyway Id better dash, just wanted to say hi and apologise for being a twit!!
I will try to find the time to get in here more and get to know everyone better so I know whose who next time!
This weeks been flat out with the boys starting school/kinda etc, ill get into a routine soon..I hope lol!

Crissty, please dont stress about being rude or not introducing yourself. There is always so many people at the gigs that you never get to spend time with. I didnt talk to too many people at the gigs either, could have been the amount i was drinking as well (mmmmmm skittles bombs mmmmmmm) but as long as you had fun and enjoyed it, thats all that matters.

Chrissty like everyone said don't stress. It took me a few gigs before I started to recognise faces. I was even standing next to Mands for a whole gig and was completely clueless :gigg: Once the boys come on everyone else kind of disappears.

Glad you had a great time. I had an awesome road trip. Thankfully my hubby understands he actually said yesterday he couldn't hate them although he has tried, they are from Melbourne, from Welsh descent and play great music :gigg: only thing he isn't impressed with is that they are all good looking guys :whist:

Hes given me permission though to go on a road trip and follow the Stone Parade guys around next time they come back down so I guess while he doesnt get it himself, he gets that i love it and need the break so I cant complain there!

Next time theres a meetup before a gig/instore i will def be there, would prob be a lot easier to work out whose who if there arent 20 of you there hehe!

Anyway id better dash, got all the boys home today so am going to do something special while were all here :)

Chrissty like everyone said don't stress. It took me a few gigs before I started to recognise faces. I was even standing next to Mands for a whole gig and was completely clueless :gigg: Once the boys come on everyone else kind of disappears.

Glad you had a great time. I had an awesome road trip. Thankfully my hubby understands he actually said yesterday he couldn't hate them although he has tried, they are from Melbourne, from Welsh descent and play great music :gigg: only thing he isn't impressed with is that they are all good looking guys :whist:

My husband "winds" me up (as he always does) about JK. He has been to 3 gigs now, I would have to say that he does not LOVE there Music, it's just not his "thing". I just get annoyed when he uses the Pics of Toby as some kind of "Voo Doo" thing.... drawing pins in Toby's forehead. (Won't mention were I found one on the Cleo Picture:gigg:) Like I said, he says stuff to "wind me" up!
