me too Shaz, hopefully Fee drops in at 1.30 am (and If I am still up) and gives us a review!
oooh sorry girls I was a tad bit drunk and I don't think I could have typed anything that resembled a review lol
I took my two boys to the instore and they were a little awe struck but it didn't take Mr Nicky long to start dancing and singing away. My favourite moment was when Tommy broke into Hot Potato for all the kids - priceless.

They had a great crowd and sold a heaps of singles, Harvey had to go chase up more to sell so well done boys.
We lined up so I can get the boys a signed single each and a photo but at the last minute my eldest son Nath changed his mind and didn't want to get a photo so only Nicky got the photo and it was a great one (when I get 5 minutes I'll load them all into photobucket but for the time been I'll load a few on to facebook) the guys are so great with children and Nick was quick to be scooped up for a photo by Tommy. While we were waiting for friends in the line up Nicky decided he wanted a pic with Toby and he ran behind the signing table and waited until Toby had finished signing and then he just stood looking at Toby with a massive grin on his face lol.
Since we got home both boys have been playing their singles non stop - makes a mother proud. Nick has also decided that his favourite JK member is Jaybro and now he wants to play drums!!!
Going to make another coffee then I'll do last nights review

I can't believe the road trip has come to an end but it most certainly went off with a bang.
After the instore we went back and colapsed on the couch wondering where the energy was going to come from to make it to the last gig in Geelong, the answer to that question was found in a hot shower, a bbq and several shots of Sambuca............
I have no idea who the first band were and to be honest I couldn't telll you if they were good or bad as it was just noise :blush: and I was to busy making new friends :) it was great to meet you Mark and Zoe.
We took to our well worn position of front row for Stone Parade who were excellent once again and their set seemed to be over as soon as it started and they were done.
Several moments later the lights dimmed and the mumur of voices turned into cheers as the boys took the stage and opened with My baby with Toby strutting through the crowd wearing the aussie flag that has been adorning the stage at all the gigs and once the song was over he gave the flag to the boys from Stone Parade xxx
There were the usual sweet treats of Lenny on Harmonica, Toby roaming through the crowd and lots of crowd singing.
I love hearing Dale do Highway to Hell and I loved my sweaty hug from Mr Rand :)

Sorry the review is a little brief, its a little hazy as I wasn't designated driver last night, It was an awesome end to a fantastic 8 days so thank you to everyone I met as you all made our JK Road Trip a week to remember and a special big thank you to the JK boys themselves as if it wasn't for you we wouldn't have had a Road Trip at all xxx

Well me and my friend drove up to Geelong espically for the gig and stayed in a place around the corner from the gig that happened to be run by someone we felt was an asain version of Norman Bates from Psycho.
We got to the instore at 2, thinking that was when it started, to find ourself confronted with Tommy telling us to come to the instore to which I replied thats why we are here a little to hastily according to my friend.
The instore performance was great fun and the perfect preview and warm up for the night ahead. We stayed to get a picture with the boys, thanks to Harvey and chatted to them very briefly.
The gig at the Barwon Club was AMAZING. I had the pleasure of being front row for all of the bands (yes I was one half of the girls who danced during the 1st support band, quite badly probably.)
Stone Parade were fantastic as well (and all very cute) I hadn’t heard of or seen them before but they blew me away and I got to meet them afterwards and they are all so nice. Even got a quick glimpse at teh Australian flag that Juke Kartel had personally signed for the boys.
Now the mainevent: Juke Kartel...WOW!!!! Being so close to them was amazing and an exprience I will never forget. Me and my friend danced and sung our hearts out during their set and I didn’t want it to end I found myself even at times looking around the stage not knowing where to focus as I didn’t want to miss anything. Without a doubt the highlight for me though was when Toby got me to sing part of Decemember with him...OMG I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO DIE. I didn’t expect any special treatment like that so I was blown away when it happened.
It was also great when Dale started getting into Highway to Hell, it was great to see Dale front and centre like that he is a truly talented like all of the boys.
Overall, it was a fantastic performance and one of the best nights of my life. It was also great to be able to talk to the boys afterwards and thank them for the show and me and my friend found it hilarous that they kept saying...oh your the sexy girls from the front row...yes yes we are ;)

We have had a fantastic time not just at the show and instores but the entire road trip has been giggles and life long memories made.

The Geelong Instore was an utter success. They ran out of December singles...sold out the day's stock. Harvey had to race out to his car and gather what he had left there for others waiting inside wanting to purchase them.
The boys worked the crowd handing out cards...with a few of us helping. The crowd turnout was so wonderful...I'm getting so emotional thinking about it.
Such a an amazing week for instores, and shows. Their performances at both Ballarat and Geelong were both awe inspiring and they were mobbed for the signing at Ballarat. I get goosebumps thinking of JK on the threshold of greatness. It will happen, it's a just a matter of when now.
I will try and write full reviews soon.

Aww Addy that's beautiful. You're making me want to cry just thinking about how amazing it would have been. I hope they realise just how proud we all are of them :)

I haven't had the pleasure of chatting to you very much but I do see you around and I love the gleam you have in your eyes when you see the boys doing well! I'm so glad they have good people like you around!
I'm also getting very excited for the boys! I was saying to my friend last night that I can't wait to hear the album and watch them rise to a greater level of success...and it couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of guys.
My friend saw them for the first time last night (she hadn't even heard a JK song before :gigg:) and all she kept saying to me after it was how awesome they are and how they are going to be sooooo big!
I thought the instore was fantastic aswell and I had to stop myself buying any more cds once I realised that they were nearly out! I have already purchased about 20 copies and thought it was best to leave the last few copies for people that might not own one yet.
I can't wait to take the kids to the Nunawading instore. I think I might have even convinced the hubby to come along....we'll see!
My 6yo daughter Mikayla loves the in stores as much as her mummy loves the shows!

Well 3 Sydney girls (Donna, Lauren and myself) made the trek down by car 9hrs there and back but bloody worth every mile.The first thing we see after getting out of the taxi at the pub is Todd in a Mankini parading in front of the window :LMAO: F@ckin' hilarious.That made my night, can't say he was as hairy as borat but it fit well :gigg:
Was nice meeting a few of the Melb girls Paris, Lana, Kelly, Dani, Sheridan and of course Adelle!! :wave:
The boys bloody rocked they were awesome so much energy for such a small stage..Loved every minute of it!! Before I knew it it was all over and the stupid Security guard was telling everyone to get the f@ck out of the pub :angry2:..Thanks to the boys for a great 2 weeks URRU Can't wait for the tour in March/April

Thanks EVERYONE for the great reviews. What a hugely successful tour it has been. From all accounts the crowd, (not just us ST girls) has gone nuts at the gigs! I am Totally Thrilled for the guys and feel so proud of the success I Know they will have!
I just wanted to say a huge thanks to you all for the fun chats and hearing all of your reviews, I really wish I could have made it to more than the one gig this time round. I will see a few of you this Saturday. I think we should try and get a group shot of us STeamers!! The past 12 months (of gigs) have been awesome and I look forward to the next round of Aust tours! xox

Thanks for all the reviews guys, Barwon Club sure did rock when JK got on stage, wow it was a sensational night & a nice end to my mini tour.
I took 4 JK virgins to BC they are all now new JK fans, they were totally blown away when JK rocked that stage the way they did. They all bought the CD's and got pic's with Toby and Tommy, at last I will have work friends to talk about JK with, I won't feel so alone anymore yay. One friend commented that she's never seen 5 such good looking men on one stage together ever, I agree.
It was a great tour, I was lucky enough to get to Belgrave, Ballarat and Geelong and 2 Instores as well. Also, nice to meet a few of you guys out there too.
That's awesome to hear Linda! You should get them over here to chat with too:)

well it was the last stop of the jk roadtrip & what a week it was.
another great performance by the jk boys.
i had to drink again, as well fee needed someone to drink with, so we slammed a few sambuca shots down before we went to the gig & a few more there.
again, fee covered everything in her review.
highlights from the week, 5 shows in 7 days, 3 instores, getting mic time for a few songs, getting my boobs signed, meeting a lot of new jk people on the way.
having the best time with my fellow jk roadtrippers & thanks to the jk boys for always putting on a fantastic show
i think thats all, i am back at work today & i am struggling

I am glad to hear I am not the only one that suffers from PGD, I actually usually call it PCD to which my friends stare at me like what is PCD and why do you have it lol. They just don't understand.

Yes, well my work is aware slightly of my obsession, but not to the full extent.
I will just annoy them by talking non stop about last Saturday, if I can't see the boys because of work I'll just try and convert my workmates instead. Or Freak them out by my psychoness instead.

Kristy, What a great idea. convert yr workmates. I've already converted mine. I took four of the girls from work to see JK play at Geelong on Saturday night, now they are all fans & have pic’s of themselves with the guys pinned up all around the office. And I keep hearing familiar songs coming from their PC's too, life is sweet in my JK friendly office. They are all hooked & can't wait to see them play again.
