......looking forward to hearing about their first rock show in Melbs after a week in lovely Sydney...
Thanks to Paris and Denise, I got to hear December and see If Only.
Love you guys....thanks so much!
Hey Guys just got home from the Pier. It was another fantastic show (to be expected right, the boys never disappoint).
So without further ado lets review.....
We last left the road trippers in Mornington giggling up a storm .... we recommence the road trip at 5pm with tickets number 1 2 and 3 for tonights show at the Pier departing from good old werribee with a detour for the biggest latte's macca's has to offer to get us down to Chaddy to pick up the newly brunette member before heading for Frankston.
We arrived at around 7 and sussed out a car spot and decided to go for dinner on our way up the stairs we hear the gorgeous vocals of one Toby Rand. We stood there for a bit and listened and spying a door opened we almost went in but we caught some of Miss Henny Penny's disease and didn't go up lol instead opting to eat. I can strongly recommended the salt and pepper calamari at the grand xx
We wander on down to the Pier and entered. Much to the surprise of Paris we didn't head to our usual spot of front row straight away lol we sat and listened to the first 2 bands and then we made our way to the front. It was also nice to meet Lana and Jacko :wave:
The boys came on to a massive roar of the crowd, which by the way was huge, there was barely any room for dancing but there did seem to be plenty of room for groping and drink spilling apparently lol.
The boys opened with My Baby I love that song!!!!!!! and they had the crowd eating out of their hands from then on. Toby was climbing speakers and almost fell off at one point but I do believe there were several girls and even possibly a few guys that would have been more than willing to offer assistance lol
A few highlights of the night:

and of course the best bit of the night our request for Firesign and Long way being played. Thank you guys you made our night!!!

The boys came out straight after the show and greeted and signed everything from cd's to posters to boobies. Me thinks my girls need to get in on that signing action lol
We asked the lovely stage guy to pass us a set list and then we got the gorgeous JK boys to sign it.
Shazz I gave Toby your hug as requested and Mands I also gave Toby your kiss as requested along with getting my own hug and kiss :gigg: geez the things you girls make me do bahahaha
Toby, Tommy, Dale, Todd and Jaybro thank you again for another fantastic night and for playing our songs its good to see our pestering paid off lol
Photos to follow but that may have to wait until I've had some sleep sorry girls and boys. I need to get my beauty sleep coz we are doing it all again later today lol

Morning girls.
As I've said again and again, I'm not good at reviews and the lovely Fee did and amazing one anyway. Yes I was VERY shocked to see Fee, Lorena and Bec sitting on the couches at the BACK of the room. lol. Bec your hair looks fantastic...you look gorgeous as a brunette (cos they rule. haha).
The boys were fantastic as always. Loved the set list played, LOVED Dale's Highway to Hell and LOVED LOVED LOVED What you Gonna Do...that is mine and Peter's favourite song at the moment.
Signings afterwards was CRAZY that I had Harvey approach me and ask me to take pics of it all. He was loving it. lol. I managed to get in line near the end of the signing cos I had a d**k of a security guard following me around the area trying to kick me out (even though I told him that the manager wanted me to take pics, he told me to do it outside....ummmmm....wha?? lol) so I lined up to say hi to the boys and so the security guy could leave me alone. haha. Hubby jumped the line in front of me so he could say hi to them as well and Todd asked him if he wanted him to sign his boob. Lmao. So Peter got his arms signed by the boys...too funny.
Great night and looking forward to tonight at Ruby's with the girls - GIRLS NIGHT OUT!!! WOOOOOOO.....lol.
I didn't take any photos of the performance so I'm sorry that I don't have anything to share.
Here you go. I was really disappointed with the pics from last night. The lighting wasn't great and all the settings I tried just failed so here is a few of the better ones there are more on my facebook.

Great Pics Lorena, thanks for sharing! Do they still have the "revolving" dance floor there? I used to go there when it was called 21st Century "Dance Club" (so 80's!)
The guys seemed to have played a few more songs than usual (?) Even with out the 2 that were on the setlist that were not played.
Security seem to have a problem with Jk fans (Solar Festival) haha Fee, well there was enough room on my chest for all 5 of them to sign :gigg: But I only asked Toby and then Tommy. I think I embarressed them when I appologised that after 2 kids, they were not umm well as "firm" as they used to be, I can't believe I said that!!! I won't put them thru it tonight, will Settle on a CD being signed!

I hate smartarse security. I'll tell you something that happened. I think I may have already told you...
Peter bought me a raspberry water (bottle of plain water with a bit of raspberry flavour in it) and he bought himself a plain bottle of water. We went out into the smoking section and security told me I couldn't take my drink in there. They then told me that only water was allowed!!! I tried to tell them that it was only raspberry water and Peter was already in the smoking section holding his plain water...security kept telling me that I couldn't take it in cos it wasn't water and I continued to tell him that it was water with only a drop of raspberry in it. Still they wouln't budge and Peter stuck his head out of the door asking what was going on to which the security guard told him that drinks (soft drink & alcohol in glass bottles) were not allowed in there cos people might throw them over the balcony onto people walking by even though Peter and I were holding the exact bottle of water except mine was coloured!!!! WTF??????!!!!!!

I think we've all had idiot moments with the boys. I used to have heaps of them especially really drunk ones where the next morning I would wake up and try remember all the ones I had the night before....now I don't care. lol.
