Dont forget to check out the other independant radio stations as well. Some states have great stations that are already playing December.

With the Austereo network, they have the hot 30 each night. If people can put some votes towards that as well, cant hurt.

Wondering through the stereo section of Harvey Norman today I stopped dead when I heard a very familiar riff...

December was blasting through one of their iPod speakers. I asked one of the guys who worked there if they had a regular set of songs they played on a loop and he said they load on between 50-100 and just let them play. He said he loved JK and had been waiting for a long time to see them live, to which I grabbed a pen and paper and wrote down all their upcoming Vic dates :gigg:

I think that we all need to be requesting Melbourne stations Mel, seems a little sad that a Melbourne Band is recieving less airtime In Melbourne than Sunshine Coast stations. Feels like our Melb requests are a "drop in the ocean" in a big City! I wonder whats happening on Sydney Radio.. Donna and Gemma? December getting much airtime?

I remember Kelley talking about how expensive videos were to shoot back when the SAVE ME video was being made. Do you think it can be done, Mark? Forget about the financial aspect of it, do you think it can be more than a cheesy plot, bad acting and a starring blond (or not so blond)? That's what I see on VH1 and it makes me ill. I believe some songs shouldn't be accompanied by staged visuals, although videos could be mandatory for singles, I don't know.

Im sure that i read in here the other night about the price of the December single online via JB Hi Fi......well after reading this, i went onto their website just to have a look myself and a laugh more so, then me being me (not many people here have seen this side to me!!) I wrote JB an email and when i got home today checked my emails and had a response from them...... basically they werent aware of the problem, thanked me for bringing it to their attention and have now fixed the problem!!! I went to my JB store yesterday and brought their LAST copy of the December single AND got them to order in more of December AND Save me!!! The guy that served me said that he couldnt believe how quick they had been sold, considering not much is known about Jk as yet......I told him if i had more time that I couldve gave him a quick run down on them. A lesson learnt today.....just beware of buying CDs (singles AND albums) from JB Hi-Fi. I went to pick up my copy of the Save Me single today (a long time comming!!!) and when the girl put it through it came up as $18.00!!! I looked at her and said "WHAT! just for a single?? What else do I get??" She then called out the manager and got them to double check the price..... it came back that someone had put it through at the wrong price when it came in. Mind you, Im STILL waiting for an appology!!! This isnt the first time that it has happend.....just thought that it might be worth mentioning to everyone else, so they dont get caught out too!!

I have not been on the comp for a few days. I saw On Toby's facebook that they were on triple M. In a way I am glad I did not hear it. I would have cried my eyes out. I have worked the last 3 days at Bunnings. Our Bunnings is the last store leading to the Yarra Valley, before the towns of Yarra Glen, Healsville, Glenburn, Murrindindi, Toolangi and Marysville. We have 20 team Members who have been unable to come to work as they live in these areas. Thankfully None have lost homes (only Sheds) but they have been on Fire alert all week. One of the Managers lives In Kinglake (worst hit area) managed to save his home whilst his neighbours home burnt. Lat report, he had not slept since Fri Night!!

There is such an Uneasy feeling at work. Alot of our customers too live in these areas . I worked in reception today (the receptionist on Fire alert at home) I had so many phone calls from stressed people looking for generators and Fire Pumps. We had sold out of these by Sunday PM and have had to call upon other stores for stock. But to hear the voices of these poor, tired and obviously upset people just broke my heart.

But then I see the donations people are leaving at Bunnings in the form of Cash and Clothing is amazing and makes me realize how much we care and want to help. The Local Swinburn Uni, brought in two huge trolleys of Nappies, Baby wipes, toilet Paper, Shampoo, deodorant etc. Sorry for dumping all this on you all...

G'day Addy, I just got your Facebook message - so I guess JK are not officially added to MMM Syd as yet. - Looks like there's much more requesting to be done up here!! - What I did was after doing the Sydney music jury, I went back to your link for the Melbourne jury & signed up using a friend's Melb address (I know they won't mind!). - I tell you what, it's virtually a completely different list of songs between the 2 cities!! - Anyway, I'll do both surveys each week from now on & I'll let you know if JK appear on the Sydney one (although I'm guessing Harvey would know first & tell you anyway!).

If it gets added in Sydney & stays on both playlists for a while it's gonna make an enormous difference with a flow-on affect to downloads, airplay charts, ARIA charts, album sales, etc!! - I've been requesting on Nova up here as well. It'd be an absolute crime to not hear "December" on radio stations nationally! It's not only that we love the boys, - it's a bloody awesome song that needs to be heard!!
