"6. The SMS Voting service for the Musicoz Awards will be available from Wednesday, 1st August 2008 and will continue until 5.00pm AEST on Monday 8th December 2008. Any votes received outside these dates will be disregarded and will not go towards the final result."

They're not actually playing it Tuesday night for some reason. It's on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday next week. And it's only for an hour so I'm hoping they'll show the People's Choice.

The wierdest thing happened with my phone today it refused to type messages, the buttons weren't working properly and was just being a complete pain in the arse. Then I decided to try adn vote for them again and my phone magically started working fine again.

Sorry I just read this. No review from me...not good at it and most of the night...ooops I mean day (weird saying that) was spent baby sitting. I did watch the boys but my mind was on looking after Shayla. One of the guys that worked there thought I was her mum...had to laugh cos I can't see myself having a blonde hair/blue eye child...that would cause many wogs to talk if I did. lol.

SAVE ME UPDATE: I grilled the main CD dude at the huge JB store near my house after noticing they only had 2 singles left (which I promptly bought for some lucky lucky friends :gigg:). They said that they were still selling them steadily and they were getting another shipment soon. So people are still LOVING the song :) Oh and I also got them to put aside the original single launch poster they had...just cos I want another one :)

You girls are lovely, and thank you but it doesn't matter who did what or how much of...what counts is JK won! I also believe that we weren't the only driving force here. Gauging by random comments, personal msgs etc people stood up and took notice of our boys...and helped them. We can never know just who did what but I reckon JK are loved by so many....alot of whom aren't on here with us. I'm so happy for that!

I was thinking the same thing. Not even the biggest rock bands in the world have fans this dedicated to keeping them on top. They're such special guys...and it's a real honour to say that we're the little family who are behind them all the way.

I did think it was lucky that he has a loud, clear voice. It was standing room only, bands setting up in one corner, awards in the other...I can't say that everyone was paying attention to the winners, but the room did seem to go quiet when Toby spoke.

I did think it was lucky that he has a loud, clear voice. It was standing room only, bands setting up in one corner, awards in the other...I can't say that everyone was paying attention to the winners, but the room did seem to go quiet when Toby spoke.

I am getting rather F**KING nervous about the TV screening as well. Donna and I were dodging Camera 4 all night, and then Mammal decided to play all over the room and there was nowhere left to hide! (SHIT F**K..That just came out of nowhere!) lmao!!!!!
It was pretty much focused on Toby Gemma, not many heads in the way but I saw a camera man a few times. Hee hee
It's cool...No head just my voice. Probably worse really. I think it was Donna's camera getting in the way a few times towards the beginning...
LMFAO Gemma!! Ahh that's so funny! A gf and I were doing the same dodging when JK played at Bourke St in 06. Toby was being interviewed by Richard Wilkins and I happened to get stuck directly behind him (Toby)...like as close as about 4 feet and I had to use Toby the whole time to screen me while this huge m*therf*cking channel 10 camera filmed the int in front of him. We got home that day safe in the surety we hadn't been filmed. I played the vid I'd pre-programmed of the morning show. Here smack centre screen is my mug singing to TIA...we were caught atleast three times...really badly! We fell down in hysterics at how stupid we looked....I wanted to die but it was too funny!

Me too I subribed to the music channel for $16 just to watch JK on Music OZ awards... Not happy... It's surprising since they were #1.....:sob:
Awwww....Not sure what they were thinking, but they did show only a very small selection of performances and award winners from the night.
Mark, just to confirm that the top award from the night was the Artist of the Year which was the Transients..However (!) It was only JK and the Transients who picked up TWO awards which should account for something, dont you think? especially if one of those was the people's choice which maybe means that is what we want to see televised..
Oh well...next time they will just have to do some special tricks with the MTV people like they did with the Nova people ;)
