Here is my review and I'm not to good doing reviews so bare with me! First
of all we were not allowed to take cameras in which sucked but I did get a
pic with Toby before the show which I will post after I get it developed!
The set was only about 20 mins long and they played like 4 songs I think,
Save Me, Throw It Away, Decemeber, and Burning Down the House. They were
amazing as always! And it was great seeing some of you again and meeting
the others! I don't know if they told us before we ever went in that no cameras were
allowed and that they would be patting us down so we put our cameras up. I
did see several people in there taking pics and it made me kinda mad but
it is ok! I wasn't sure if they played 4 or 5 songs but it was amazing! I
had a great time! Can't wait to see your pics Tina!
But I'm gonna go back to bed so I will post more later!

ooh the camera thing made me so mad. I had a bit a rough night last night
at the show with security guards that is! First they wouldn't let me in
with the camera. I did a little magic act and the camera mysteriously ended
up inside the venue. Then as we were handing out stuff while the guys were
signing the security guy told me I better back up or I was going outside!

BUT....... even though the Hardrocks security were a little rough the show
was amazing! The guys sounded much better last night with the acoustics in
the Hardrock then is Ft. Lauderdale, but then again I was a lot closer in
Orlando. I'm still sad My Baby isn't in the set, but all of the other
songs are amazing! Tina I agree Whatcha gonna do is becoming my fav song.
I do want my little hands on that EP asap.

For street teaming I think we will have great results. The guys were
basically mobbed of people wanting to meet them. Even though many of them
only knew Toby, towards the end of the night I was talking to Todd and a
people were constantly walking up and saying great job tonight you guys
are awesome. Todd even jumped on the street team wagon and was handing out
the glossy postcard things to everyone who walked up. He absolutely loves
the glow bracelets and said that from the stage he sees tons of them in
the audience.

Todd does look good in red. I don't think he was stressed he looked really
happy and much better than the night before. He was all about business.
Todd is the business man of the guys. He loves to talk JK business

We were handing out glow bracelets as people came into the venue. After
they were gone which was really fast we started tattoos. While the guys
were signing which is when Dilanna is on stage we would stand at the end
of the table where they were and hand them a flyer, postcard, and sticker
as they exited the line. We also gave the guys some flyers and cards to
put on the table in case we missed anybody.

Good news though I was looking to see if anyone dropped the flyers or
postcards on the ground or anything after the show, believe it or not I
only saw 1 on the ground and we handed out hundreds so people did keep the
information like we hope. I think our efforts are really going to pay off
for th guys and they do. They really appreciated all of our hard work.

I never got close enough to the table. That darn security guard was in my way!!!!
Still mad at that guy can you tell!

He tried not to let us street team at the table and he was yelling at me
to go inside and I turned around said could you hold on second while I get
the other street teamers attention? He glared at me probably debating to
kick me out at that time and after that he was out to get me. I guess he
thought I was going to jump the guys at the table. Every time I took one
step from the wall he yealled at me again, but he never yelled at any of
the other ladies. As my friends call me I am just trouble and sad thing is
I never did anything wrong!

Hi everyone. Last night's show was great. The band actually played 5
songs. In addition to those listed by Melanie, they finished with Whatcha
Gonna Do (my fave).

No cameras were allowed?? That's funny. I was taking pics right in front
of security. LOL They never said a word. I guess it depends on who
searched you??

Anyhoo.... the house was PACKED and they all loved JK. The boys had a
great time and sounded great. They had a huge line for the merch signing,
so they were happy too see that.

I'm still in Orlando and heading to Norfolk tomorrow for the next show.

JK Review - January 17, 2007 - Hard Rock Live - Orlando, Florida

I drove to the Orlando show with my Mom, and we met up with Alicia, Ann, Kelley, Tina, Anita, and Beth at the venue. Once again, we had a table set up at the entrance to the venue, and we passed out glow bracelets, temporary tattoos, mini postcards, and flyers. The boys LOVED the glow bracelets, and they kept commenting on how they could see tons of them up in the air while they were playing. If you street team with the bracelets before the show make sure you tell the person you're putting them on that it's for Toby's band Juke Kartel. I would say that about 75% of the people did not know that Toby's band was playing on this tour.

Juke was the first band again in Orlando, and the set was almost the same as in Ft. Lauderdale. Here's what they played:

Save Me
Burning Down the House
December
Throw It Away (w/o the acoustic intro)
Whatcha Gonna Do?

The Hard Rock in Orlando had a much better vibe than Ft. Lauderdale. The venue was set up with a GA floor and seated balcony, so this crowd seemed to be much more into the show. The boys did another autograph signing at this show, and it was a little better organized than Ft. Lauderdale. They still need to work on moving people through the line so they have enough time to sign stuff for everyone. Some of the people in line got mad when they cut off the line so Dilana could come out & sign stuff. We tried to explain that it wasn't JK that cut off the line, but some of the people still seemed upset. Once again, I stood near where the fans would exit after getting their autographs, and gave every person a flyer. Make sure if you're street teaming to give out the flyers and mini postcards after the autograph signing, or at the end of the show.

We actually got the chance to see Panic Channel and Supernova play at the Orlando show. We even got the added bonus of having the boys come out to watch the show with us! I felt somewhat bad for Toby because he was trying to watch the show, but fans mobbed him the entire time. He's just so tall that you can see him from across the venue. Everyone kept coming up to him to get a picture taken with him. I didn't really expect to see the guys very much on this tour, but they hung out for most of this show. We got the chance to talk with Todd, and we found out that the boys were really impressed with our street teaming at the FL shows! He even made the FL ST Myspace page one of the top friends on the JK Myspace page!!! We were so happy about that! TODD, IF YOU READ THIS - THANKS AGAIN IT MEANS A LOT TO US!!!!

Nobody went out to party after the Orlando show. The boys left for Virginia that night, and everybody else was exhausted after the drive from Ft. Lauderdale.

Heather added:
We handed out all of the glow bracelets to people as they entered the
venue, before the show started. We also tattooed them on their way inside.
We passed out the flyers and postcards to the fans after they went through
the meet & greet line. Just have one person standing at the end of the
table where they're signing, or near where the fans exit after getting
their autographs. They absolutely LOVED the glow bracelets and the
postcards, and we think those are the promo items we should be focusing on
for this tour at least.

January 17, 2007 Orlando, Florida

Let me just start out by saying how crappy it is to have spent last week in Florida only to come home to it snowing its ass off here! Ugh, I hate snow.

Anyways, this show was at the Hard Rock Live in Orlando, and the venue was set up differently than the one in Ft. Lauderdale. The Hollywood venue was much more like a stadium with tiers and chairs, while Orlando was general admission standing only. I LOVED the Orlando venue, it was perfect for the show! The ST girls and myself covered the floor with glow bracelets, again explaining to people that JK was Toby's band. I can't tell you how many people were like, "OMG Toby RAND is here!?!?!?" LOL! After we finish with the bracelets, JK goes on stage. This time they play:

Save Me
Burning Down the House (the boys ROCKED this song!)
December
Throw It Away (w/o the acoustic part this time)
What Ya Gonna Do?

The crowd really LOVED the boys, and all you could see were the blue glow bracelets that we had handed out. Once again, the boys came out to sign after their set. Todd told us how all they could see from the stage were the blue bracelets and that all of the boys were so impressed with the street team! The signing was not much better this time around, still disorganized and kind of crazy. Todd started street teaming on his own and handing out the little mini postcards we had made with the band's web information. The boys were taken away again after the signing so that Dilana could come out and sign. We went back towards the bar to watch the rest of the show. Surprisingly, Dale and Todd ended up back at the bar and watched all of Supernova's set with us. Toby and Tommy came out for a bit to watch with us as well, but poor Toby got mobbed by people. I thought it was really cool of the boys to come watch the show with their fans, especially when they could have been backstage!

Everyone had cameras...I even saw some people with video!

Awesome show, but I am so glad I went to see them last month on their solo
tour. It was wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better! And, like a DORK I told them that!

You become a babbling IDIOT when you are standing in front of those boys.

I've been stalking here a bit all day....great job Florida Street Team.
Lots of action at the U.S. Street Team as well...lots of action for Juke
myspace as well. Things are looking really good. We need to stay strong.
Juke's management was at the Florida shows and saw what we were
doing...they were blown away.

Florida Street Team...you guys were the definition of professional and
competent. Great, great, great job. Thank you so much...special thanks to
Heather, Alicia and their whole team. The boys were really impressed with
the work you girls did.

Thanks to everyone who designed the postcards. They were a huge hit, along
with the bracelets. There is nothing like a dark room filled with pumping
fists adorned with neon JK bracelets...it was really amazing and the guys
could not believe it. It was a really great moment for us and for them.

Yay Street Team!!!!!!!!
