I'm not too good on the written reviews but I'll give it a shot..
I can tell you they started the night with the "Save me" Video playing on two big screens..
It was amazing to hear the crowd singing along...
Then the boys came on & started with "December" so Toby had us all singing along from the first song...
Can't remember what they played next but the crowd was going crazy singing along to the songs they knew...
Poor Toddy blew something up when they sang "Firesign" but Nicky from Jaded Season was there to save the day & he helped set up another amp before they had finished playing the song...
When they sang "Throw it away" the crowd erupted as always.... i think that was the song he got down into the audience right next to me...
They finished the night off with " Save me" which sounded fantastic...
The boys were on Fire ...Amazing night ...
I was too happily taking photos to take much notice what was going on around me..:whist:
Told you I'm mot much good at the written word.:blush:
I'm sure Adelle will have a much better review for you girls & guys when she get home..

Is it November yet?!?!
I have just got home from Avalon from my Son's first race meeting for the season. So I am SOO tired (and my ears are still ringing), will be heading to bed very soon, so I will post my pics tomorrow night (but don't think mine will even come close to Denise's!) I made my way to the front (leaving hubby and 2 friends behind) I spotted young Matt's tall head and made my way towards him! Matt took about 50 pics on my camera and I took a few with my other camera.
Was a F#@ken BRILLIANT show by the guys. I loved the way the started with "Save Me" on the big screens, fantastic to see it on such a big screen. I remember Starting with "Decemember" and Ending with "Save Me" I don't remember all the songs and in what order they were in between that. I do remember Singing (Very Loudly) "throw it away" with young Matty! At the end I was hot and sweaty...GREAT night!
Sorry I didn't get to meet you Mark, I thought I saw you early in the night but wasn't too sure if it was you or not. Everyone else, great to see you all once again and great to meet you too Fee!
Oh by the way, Luke's car won "Most Outstanding Presented Car" trophy, must have been the JK stickers that did it!!
I also have to add how amazing Jonny No Mercy were when they opened. They were fantastic but I expect that every time I see them now. We were really lucky to experience this night, it was perfect!

Actually I don't really know how to work my camera...Still learning....lol
but the good thing about the setting I used it doesn't use the flash unless it detects its too dark so I can get pics using the lighting effects....

There must have been atleast three screens, Kelley. I didn't notice on the night. There's one at the back. The other is to the right, out of camera.
My pics using my dinosaur. Funny, I bought this camera specifically to get good shots of JK back in 06. Poor thing's still kicking but the pics could be better quality.

I had an awful vantage point so held my arm in the air and shot what my eyes couldn't see....so I could see them later :)

Wow! Thank you so much for taking the time to download, resize, and post all those BEAUTIFUL photos!!! And to recount the evening! Denise, the words were great. :) As Kelley said, we all appreciate it over here very, very much. We miss those boys and it lifts our spirits and makes us very happy to see and hear how incredible the night was. So good to see!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you! And yup, Tina, digging the trade-up to black tie! Very good look! :)

Here's a few shots from my camera. I didn't take many and I'm not the best photographer...
Like I said, it was an awesome night. I was front row which is different as I normally stand back to watch the show...Bobby from Geek Love was standing with me and the 2 of us were rocking out while I kept my eye on my cousin Stav to make sure she didn't climb up on stage and jump Toby. Lmao.
The guyliner made a return...but the boys still looked HOT! lol. They were all amazing and before we knew it, the night was over...it just went too quick.
Oh and I have to say I had soooooo much fun handing out the glow sticks. Lana and I went through the crowd and there were a few that weren't sure about it but I convinced them to wear it. I was just putting them on their arms, round their necklaces and some guys that had big wrists, I lifted their tees and attached it to their belt. Haha.
Like I said, at the beginning a few people were looking at me weird and some would politely refuse a glow stick but once they saw more and more people wearing them, they would come up to me and ask for one. Hehe. One guy I wrestled with to get a glow stick on him...I failed in my attempts but later on he gave in and I managed to get one on him. Haha.
Adelle and Sharyn looked like they were having fun with them as well...especially Sharyn who we couldn't miss in the crowd with the amount of glow sticks she was wearing. lol.
Wow, this picture brings back some memories! Hot Toby! RSSN-Karma Police! I love this look for Toby. I can even picture Toby doing his swagger thing on stage. Oh love it! Glad to see his hair a little shorter too.
All the guys look gorgeous! I love Dale's hat...he is such a cutie. Thank you all for the pictures and the reviews. It looks like it was a full house. And an incredible set up with the big flat screens. So happy for the guys! After all this time they deserve it.

Thanks J. Yep it was a massive turnout. Peter was standing at the back (I think you can see him right at the back to the right standing next to Nikki's hubby) and he's spewing he didn't have a camera with him cos the view of the crowd and stage looked wicked from where he was standing.
Ha ha - you Aussies have to stop spewing - because in my mind I see a bunch of you vomiting as that's the only meaning I have for spewing.:LMAO:

The group shot, I must have not made my way to the front were Matt was when this was taken. I abandoned my "mob" and headed into the crowd, and as Matt is soo Tall, I made my way towards him!
Great pics Paris and Adelle (Adelle, my camera is a dinasour too, 2004 era) I asked Matt if he could take a pic for me and he didn't give it back, he was happily snapping away. I think Todd must be his Favourite as there were heaps Of Todd.

i just had another big night out, so im hung over and not in the 'reviewing' mood. but im sure you got the just from everyone elses posts.
nikki you left out the best part of the story...nikki told everyone from the back to the front of the mosh that 'the tall kid' (being me if you couldnt tell from the crowd pic) was her son and had just turned 18. so everyone let her in and up to the front.
sorry i didnt take the pic of you nikki, i couldnt hear a word you said lol...it was so loud and i was busy rocking out. haha.
my mates dragged me out of the prince as soon as the set finished, i was disappointed becasue i wanted to say hi to everyone i hadnt seen, and hopefully catch the band when the came out. oh well.
hope everyone had a great night too.
PS: yes i realise im freakishly tall, and extremely dorky in pics...and i love it! haha.

the boys were spectaular... both JNOM and JK...
it was absolutely crazy... sold out croud... everyone just enjoying the music, the atmosphere.. the drinks !!!

My camera is pretty quick but not all my pics turned out either...Luckily i got a great selection of ones that did though.. ( that happens when you take over 400 pics though) :blush:
The ones with Dale & Todd when they were doing that guitar duel during Sublime truth I got alot of coz I used the continuous shot button....
i also got alot of blurred ones & half of them in the shot or not in the shot at all coz those boys don't stand very still , especially Toby & Todd:gigg:

Oh, I wondered what they were supposed to be of...lol... The camera is old and as I said to you, its not fast.
Some were blurry, but you took so many Matt there was some really good ones. I took a few with my cheap Camera, but it is only 3X zoom the one you used is 10X zoom. As Promised Matt, I will email you the originals. Again, thanks Matt!

OH WOW I'm still pumped from Friday night. I did wake up to a sick child the next day hence the reason I haven't been on here.
I had an awesome time friday night. JNOM were terrific. I'd never seen Angela's Dish before but they were pretty great as well.
But the reason we were all there JUKE KARTEL were frikkin awesome!!!!

Well I'll keep my fingers crossed for you guys that there is a show and if there is, that it's announced soon since I know that people's schedules book up VERY FAST nearing December (and end of November) and the holiday season, especially on Saturday nights and weekends. Unless it's just like that in Canada and the US. :) Over here I already have two weekends at the beginning of December set in stone and it's only mid-October, and my family and tons of good friends live 3,000 miles away so I can only imagine those with family and close friends right there... busy season!!!

Just wanted to pop in and say a massive thanks to you all for coming down!!
We had a ball, it was awesome to finally play again...

I had a request by someone from facebook to buy copies of 4 of my photos from Friday night...to say I wasn't flattered is an understatement...
Anyway while I was getting them done for him i got this one printed in sepia for myself...here's a pic of it framed...
