Hey guys!

I just got home a few hours ago and I am now trying to get ready for work. OMG.....do I feel old....lol. I will give you a full update when I get home. Most of my pictures came out awful. I gave up on my camera after awhile so JoJo took a lot of shots for us and they are awesome. We will both post them later. Sorry to have to make you guys wait until later. Have a nice day!

It's all about Toby for me...

He is the nicest guy but damn I turned to a mumbling fool in front of him. Does everyone remember the scene in Dirty Dancing where Baby says " I carried a watermelon"? Well...I was as goofy as that. Pathetic!!!!!!!! They couldn't have been any nicer though. I know what I am asking Santa for this year.

sorry this took so long but someone needs to help figure out how to put my pics up..i'm a little slow with this stuff..i got great pics..it was an amazing night..the boys KICKED it hard..they were amazing..and i must thank Laura (pooky) for letting me come with her to the meet and greet..the boys are as sweet, if not sweeter than everyone has said..i felt like i was just hanging out with friends..Rebel was a small club and i was concerned at first because the crowd was not too big..but more people showed as it got closer to the time when the boys came on..they rocked it..OMG..they sounded awesome..after they played they came and huing out in the club and took pics and signed autographs..they signed until the club closed down..they truly are amazing with their fans..

as soon as somone clues me in on the pictures..i will be back..if i don't fall asleep..3 hrs of sleep is tough...

ok guys, sorry i haven't been on more but..life ya know, work, kids, but i have a few minutes so here goes..the show was amazing..they came on stage a little late..but it was cool because the place filled up a bit more for them, which wa awesome..they started with Firesign..WOW that sounds amazing..um then i'm not sure what they played..i think i was well in awe..but they did play If Only and RObbie's song, Save me. December, Throw it away, and probably a couple more, but sadly no Knockin on Heavens Door.. that would ok kicked ass..Every song was awesome and i absoluterly love them more now then ever..

the meet and greet was great..not long enough..but great..the boys are all super..cool, sweet, funny as hell, just a total blast..we got great pics and i have to say it was more than i could have hoped for at the show..i didn't even expect the meet and greet..pooky surprised me with that..speaking of pooky..right back at you girl..i feel like we've been friends forever too..we had such a blast..Allis can't wait to get together in the city and party again!!!i am soooo glad i got to meet you and all the people ive meet because of JK..friends for life..

ok so back to the show..after they came out and hung out with the fans till they closed the venue around 12:30 i think..time is a total blurr.. they took pics and signed many autographs..we were hanging with Todd at the bar..he is avery cool guy..like min a lot..isn't the self protrait he took of me and him great?? we also hung with Dale for a while too..at the bar of course!!! he is sich a nice guy..he talked about Lucy and gettinm married and how crazy all this is..i can;t imagine how hard it is for her..i have to post my pics to her thread..Talked to Eddie for a while when he signed my jacket..what a doll..he said they got to go see Ground Zero, but didn't have much time to do much else..bummer NYC has lot of fun things to do and see.. they said they wanted to come back and hang out again..i hope so!!!!! it was just awesome and i miss them already too and it's only been 2 days!!! that's just sad...

hey kelly..i would love you to make one of my pics into an avatar and no i don't have a clue how to do it..also i have a video of save me..can i load that here..like i would just download it on photobucket?? i'm gonna try cuz it ROCKS and i want to share it with you guys!!!!

So here's my late review of Monday's show at Rebel. Sorry, no photos from me, cuz who knew. I've seen Juke Kartel 5 times since September and (leaving aside their very first US gig, which was its own special wonderful thing) the guys have played better and better at each show. NYC is at the top of my personal list performance-wise, though not my fave show overall. The crowd was smallish and the audience vibe was a little low on energy (and admittedly that may be an unfair comparison from me, since Baltimore was such a great party) -- but it was still all good.

I posted after one of the California shows that I wasn't feeling Whitestarr, and I'm going to publicly take that back ... they've grown on me (and I'm sure they'll be relieved to hear this :P). They are a lot of fun and Cisco and Tony are great cheerleaders. Even though they didn't have much of an audience in terms of numbers or enthusiasm at the start, Cisco kept working it until everyone was good and pumped up by the end. He had Rainbow catwalk for the crowd a little, since it was his birthday. :) Rainbow kept his shirt on (so I guess VH1's tender audience will be denied the sight of his AK47 tattoo), but Cisco made up for it by dropping his pants and wagging his bare bum at the crowd to close their set ... cute. :P

What can I say about Juke that hasn't already been said here? They were *on* ... imho Eddie in particular was just banging that night. A few things I think people haven't mentioned so far: Toby asking someone in the crowd if he could have a sip of her beer (unfortunately for him, it was a Bud Light); holding up an Elmo doll that someone had dressed in an “EVS” t-shirt, saying “isn’t this the shit?”; pulling someone from the audience onto his lap for the first part of “Robbie’s Song” … all great camera moments that ought to make it into whatever they were doing for VH1. And there should be tons more photos and video floating around out there, because lots and lots of people had cameras and were snapping away through the entire show.

I said hi to Todd, Dale and Tommy afterward, but of course they were pretty much mobbed (and of course being very generous with their time -- it can’t be said enough how genuinely, unfailingly nice they all are), so real conversation was just not happening with Tipsy Girl here. (Tommy did mention he was losing his voice! but we couldn’t tell, really, so they covered for him well.) Perhaps luckily for them, Rebel decided to roll up the sidewalk a little after midnight. Hello, city that never sleeps?! So my friend and I split and headed to the East Village … just for a little while, though. We had to be at work early! ;)
