Thanks so much for all the support. Even though they didn't ask...the gift cards are going to be very helpful. Thanks again.

So....I'm not a big picture taker. I will tell you that the show was more than I could have ever asked for. Before the show started, many of us had dinner in the bar and Tommy came in with a video camera and started videotaping us and asked everyone to yell Juke Kartel!
The girls went up for the meet and greet about 9:30. This was a big crowd so we had some street teamers and of course Janelle, the myspace winner. We all took pictures and it was really a fun time.
The show lasted about 70 minutes. They played their hearts out. It was a pretty big crowd and everyone was dancing and having a great time. It was f*cking awesome. That's all I can say.
The boys stayed around for a long time after the show and signed everyone's shirts and spent a lot of time taking pictures. It was a great night.
Thanks to all the street teamers who came to show their support. Please keep working even though this show is over.
Even if you are not in the meet and greet, from what I have seen EVERY fan gets some personal attention and love and a picture. I'm not saying this will happen every show...but it is happening pretty regularly. They did it last night even after Toby flew in from Iceland and they had to drive to Toledo overnight. They are so generous to their fans, it blows my mind.
Here are a couple from me:

Talking face to face I probably could go on and on about the amazing night I had Saturday, but finding the right words to put down on here to express myself is really not my forte. So bare with me.
Let me just start off by saying it was so wonderful to meet everyone from here.. you all are a bunch of great gals.
The evening started by walking into the Abbey and seeing Tommy sitting at the bar shortly after that Dale came on over. We chatted for a little bit and then made our way into the back room for our dinner reservation. At different times both Tommy and Todd dropped on by during dinner to say Hi. Todd brought his video camera in with him and shot us expressing how much we love JK.
On to the shows. I was not familiar at all with Driveblind or Whitestarr so I really did not know what to expect. I have to say I was more partial to Driveblind's music, than Whitestarr, but I must say Whitestarr does bring a lot of energy to their shows. It was really amusing or maybe more annoying to watch the lovely dancing striptease act by that guy from Whitestarr(can't remember his name)I kept thinking about that jello commercial.. watch it wiggle .. see it jiggle. (LOL)I was laughing so hard I thought tears were going to start to stream down my face.
It seemed like I waited for this for an eternity, but the moment was finally here and JK graced us on stage. I don't think I can find the words to express what an amazing show they put on.. I can't stress enough if you haven't seen them live .. do whatever you have to, but GO TO A SHOW even if they are not coming to a town near you.. make the trip you won't be disappointed. I really can't remember the whole set list or the order it went in.. Firesign, money love, Robbie song(what a tear jerker) If only, TIA, Save me .. that's all I can remember. The only sad thing it went by so quickly before you knew it the show was over.
Dale was a mad man on the guitar.. during one part he took this guitar and started to play with his mouth if my memory serves me.
Hottie Toddie(thud) lived up to this name.. oh my oh my what else can I say. Eddie is an incredible drummer what a cutie pie.
Tommy or Toby.. Tommy or Toby .. you take your pick.
By Toby's performance you would've never known he just jetted in from Iceland a few hours prior. He brought so much energy both on and off the stage.
Toby, Todd, Tommy, Dale, and Eddie were all so gracious before and after the show with taking the time to talk, take pics, or sign your shirt. You won't find a bunch of nicer guys than them. They truly do love their fans.
Here are a few pics I had.. I don't have the one with myself and Toby someone else took the picture so hopefully it turned out, but that's OK I will forever have the picture in my mind of the hug he gave before and after the show.
I do have to laugh when I welcomed him to Chicago prior to the show when I saw him in the hall way and he was like .. oh wow a true Chicagoan accent you have.. I don't really think I have one, but who was I to disagree with him.LOL
GREAT PICTURES EVERYONE!!!!!!
The guys ROCKED the Abbey! What an incredible show! What an incredible group of guys. I think everyone will agree that they are just as nice as they are talented! The night went way too quickly. I had such a great time meeting everyone that was there. Thanks to Kelley, Jenn, and the IL Street team! Hope we all get the chance to do it again soon. Thanks to Juke Kartel for an awesome show!
Here are some random pix I took...

Yeah..I must agree...the show was so amazing....Best Time of my short-lived life!!....All the guys are soo nice especially when I was too shy and someone else had to ask for my pictures w/ them..I was like a little girl....so awesome...oh..the hugs were awesome..hehe...Loved every second of it!!! Hey I even got a kiss from the lead singer of Whitestar which I thought was pretty cool...The night went by too fast....and once again if you haven't seen these boys perform...Go out and get tickets now...b/c they are amazing....you will never forget the day you see Juke Kartel live..I have been to quite a few concerts..and this by far...so AWESOME....and blows the others out of the water...and the boys are so nice....Toby even took the extra time to fix my name on the shirt he signed for me...He wrote Andrea..but that is not my name..my name is Angela..but if he wants to call me Andrea then hey I'm cool w/ that!!!...It was just the Best time Ever!!

Thank you so much for posting that pic, Mel. It was awesome to finally get to meet you, Dawn, and the rest of the street teamers. Thanks to Janelle for putting together the dinner before the show. I'm gonna post my full review of the show that I've posting on all the Toby/JK related forums. And I'll have pics up hopefully by later this week. I won't get my pics developed 'til Wednesday, and I have to figure how to upload them, which I haven't done too much. Hopefully they all turned out good, especially the one with me and Toby. Okay, here's the review:
Well, I finally got the chance to see the band Juke Kartel on Saturday at the Abbey Pub in Chicago. For anyone who doesn't know already, the lead singer, Toby Rand, was on the show Rock Star:Supernova. He came in third in the competition, but it all worked out 'cause in my opinion, JK's music is way better than Supernova's. Anyway, the night started out with me getting to the pub at around 5:15. I met up with my friend Susan and her boyfriend Paul. We were all chatting about Rock Star, Toby, and JK and got an appetizer while we were waiting for other people to show up. We had a dinner reservation at 6:30 to meet up with other members of the JK street team, and we were the first ones to get there. We saw a few ladies walk in and Susan asked if they were part of the street team, they said yes, we let them know about us being part of the dinner and then they went somewhere in the back of the venue. While we were waiting for our mozzarella sticks we eventually saw 3 members of JK walk in; Tommy, the bass player, Dale, one of the guitar players, and Eddie, the drummer. They were kind of wandering around the pub and they looked busy, so I didn't want to bother them. I did eventually wave to Dale and I said hi, let him know we were seeing the band, asked him how he was doing, and he said, "Good. We're kind of lost." Lol. They eventually went to another part of the venue. We finally got our mozzarella sticks and Kelley, the creator of the street team, and the other ladies let us know that they were going in the back room for dinner and to go ahead and meet up with them in there. So we went in there and met up with the rest of the street team members. During the dinner, Janelle, another friend, let us know that the 3 guys were in the pub eating, so Dawn and Denise, a couple other friends, and I went back over to get pics taken with them. So I finally introduced myself to them and got pics taken and chatted with them a little bit. We went back to the reservation room and all chatted, then Tommy came back and chatted with us. A little while after that, Todd came back with a camera and Tommy told us all to shout out "Juke Kartel!" Lol. So that's awesome that we're on their video footage. Maybe they'll post that on their website or something. The doors to the venue opened up at 8, so then we were the first ones to get in. I was glad to see how small the venue was. I always love when I get to see bands in a smaller, intimate setting. So me and the group I was with headed straight to the front of the stage. While we were waiting for the show to start, we heard that Toby had just came in. I think Susan spotted him first and then she took me over to the hallway where he was at. Oh my God, I almost passed out when I saw him. That man is so much finer in person. And he's really tall. I knew he was tall, but man. : ) So then me, Dawn and a couple other people went over to him. Dawn got to say hi to him and then there was this guy goofing around giving him a mock interview. Eventually we found out that the guy was the band Whitestarr's dancer. Lol. More on that later. So Toby said something like "We're in the wrong place", then he went inside the venue and we followed him. Lol. We attempted to get a pic taken with him, but right when he came in, there was a complete mob surrounding him, so we decided to wait 'til after the show to meet him. Dawn and I did get pics taken with Todd, who came in shortly after Toby. Then a little while after that Dawn and I decided to buy t-shirts before the show started. I got a black JK shirt to wear and also a pink JK tank top for the guys to sign. Eventually the show started at around 9:00. The first band to come on was Driveblind, who are from Scotland. They were pretty good. There were a couple cute guys in the band. : ) They did a cover of a Paul McCartney song; I forget what the song is called, but it's a well-known song. Lol. That made a lot sense. After them, Whitestarr came on. The lead singer, Cisco, is dating Mishca Barton of the show "The O.C.", so that's kind of their claim to fame. They were good. The dancer I was talking about had on this arabian head cloth and robe and was just dancing to every one of their songs in a goofy kind of way. It was definitely a unique aspect to that band. Lol. Finally, at around 11 or 11:30, JK came on. They're from Australia, for anyone who didn't know. : ) We managed to hold onto our front row positions, even when were edged out a little bit when Whitestarr came on. I think the first song they did was "Firesign". It was a little bit of a harder rockin' version than their original version, same with "Money Love" which I read somewhere was changed to the song title "December". I knew only a few of the songs, since they haven't released an album yet. They also did "Throw It Away", their most well-known song that Toby performed on Rock Star. Also, "Save Me", "If Only", "Robbie's Song" and some others. They definitely put on an awesome, kick-ass show. At some point in the show Toby was turning his revolving belt buckle he had on and said, "This is for the ladies", and turned right to me when he said it. Lol. That was funny. The show lasted for about an hour; it definitely went by too fast. So right after the show we saw Toby by the left side of the stage and went right over to him. Dawn took a pic with him and asked if he was signing merchandise, then he decided to go ahead right to the merchandise booth and we all followed him again. Lol. So Dawn got her shirt signed, and I think I was the third person in line to meet him. I wasn't really nervous, but I was kind of shy, as I usually am when I first meet people. I introduced myself to him and he asked if I was going to the Supernova show, and I told him I was going to the one in Chicago in Feb., then he told me to be sure I cheer really loud when I see them, and I said, "Yes, definitely". Then he signed my shirt and asked if I wanted a pic taken with him, I said "Sure", then he held up my camera and took a close-up shot with us. And we were touching cheek to cheek. Oh, my Lord! Lol. Then after he told me he'd see me in Feb. Then Tommy and Eddie signed my shirt and then when Dawn and I saw Todd I got him to sign my shirt. Dawn, Janelle, Denise, and I eventually left the venue at around 1:30 a.m. and went back to the hotel we were staying at. I had such a good time that night. I was so glad I finally got to see JK live and meet them. They are the nicest group of guys you will ever meet. It's so cool that they actually take the time to hang out with their fans and chat with them. They definitely appreciate all the support they've been getting. And I made a lot of new friends that night, including Susan, Paul, Dawn, Janelle, Denise, Anita from the "Throw It Away" MySpace profile, Tracie, and Mel. I definitely can't wait to see JK again on Feb. 3. And I'll be in the fourth row, center section, so they'll definitely see me. : ) For anyone who hasn't seen them live yet, I definitely recommend checking them out. There's definitely bigger and better things to come yet for this amazing band.
I'm not sure I have pics with anyone BUT Tommy... hee hee (I do, but *sigh*)...

Hi guys,
I'm new to this board and soo happy to be here and a part of JK! I went to see the boys at The Abbey and all I can say is ....where have they been all my life?????? ....especially Toby! Oh my Lord!!!! Got to the Pub around 7 - (hit some MAJOR traffic - and then couldn't find a place to park)...but all in all the night was AWESOME!! Was able to be Front and center (not too sure if I really wanted to be there during WhiteStarr, but I toughed it out! lol) Saw Toby in the hallway before the show - took some pictures with him and had him speak to my daughter on the phone. Told her "I'm gonna get your MUM up on stage and she's gonna take her shirt off!" I said, "don't tell her that....(she's 15)" - but then I found Todd and took a picture and he spoke to my younger daughter, Ashley. Said since she couldn't talk to Toby, he'd get the band to sign something for her and he'd give it to me to give to her - and right afer the show, didn't he come up to me and hand me a piece of paper with everyone's autograph for her - I couldn't believe it - what an awesome guy he is - along with the rest of the band. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to talk to all of them much, just mainly Toby, Todd and Freddie. But did get autographs on my t-shirt from them all. Told them I'd see them at Rosemont and they're like "where??" So told them at the Supernova show in Feb. It was getting late and I had about an hour's drive, so left around 1:30 -things were pretty much winding down. Wish I would've taken more pictures, but next time.....I did get Freddie's drumstick, Todd's pic, Toby's towel (after the show I asked the guy for it and he looked at me like I was NUTS, but gave it to me) and the set list, so if anyone's interested ... here it is......firesign, beautiful, sublime truth, smoking gun, if only, my baby, running, december, robbie's, save me, throw away, and whatcha gonna.........don't have a ticket yet for Rosemont but I'm hopeful and from what Toby told me Sat. night, I cannot wait to go and find him!!! See you all there!!!!!!! Rock on!!!!! Oh and before the show, I bought a pink JK shirt and put it on over my other, I wasn't sure if I should keep it on since no one else had it on, but June (who I met that night), said to keep it on and she was right - in between songs Toby says "I like your shirt!" ......And I LOVE YOU, TOBY!!!!!!!!! (thanks June for telling me to keep it on! - nice picture of you posted earlier!)
Wow, so nice to wake up this morning and see new pics up from this show. Just a great time had by all and when I see everyone's pics it just reminds me of other memories. Dawn thanks for making our really cool badges. Very thoughtful and cool of you. It was nice to meet all the girls posting on here.

Well, I went to the Chicago show with some of my fellow hoochies and it ROCKED!!! Sorry not to post sooner, but real life has been getting in the way. Most of what needs to be said has already been said, but I wanna say that anyone who can make it to a show should go.... you will NOT be disappointed. I'd seen them twice before, and each time I see those boys I just want MORE!!! Dale is an AMAZING guitar player (and the man can sing!), he even played with his teeth. Eddie can bang those drums with the best of em, and I mean that! Toddie just goes to another world when he is up on that stage... he closes his eyes, flips his hair, and wherever he is at I wanna be there (sorry CSW). I can watch Tommy finger that bass for hours... he has an incredible vibe on stage and it's expressed through that music. Oh, and that Toby guy... well, he's okay. Fine, he's more than okay. He is just an all around great front man. That "TV show" did not do him or his talent justice, he puts it all together up there and has the personality to go along with that amazing talent and drop dead good looks. So yeah, get yourselves to a show if you can and you will leave with a smile on your face!!!

Guess I am a bit late to the party, Jessica and I went together to the Abbey with a few other friends. I do remember standing next to a couple of you girls during the show. The guys were great and so nice. Here's a few pics, there were so many of us with cameras that night.

Thanks for the welcome. We had so much fun that night and sure didn't expect to be seeing the guys walking around us all night.
This pic was when Toby first walked in and we didn't know if he'd come talk to us because he was busy. Jess and I were just so excited to be seeing him. I think that shows on our faces!

I could sit here and post pictures all day! The guys were nice enough to sign a shirt for me. The f*uck off from Tommy is a joke. Jess and I started this joke in Canada after an INXS show with Kirk Pengilly. This time Jess got me with Tommy. He was such a great sport about it.

I am way overly extremely late with these, but I haven't been active here til recently but I thought I would still share. The Abbey was an incredible show. I walked in the front door, and there was Toby. I was sooo f%uckin excited I wanted to wet myself.
We were pretty close to up front, and I got a few decent pics with my cheap disposible camera. I was bummed after the show I was out of film so I didn't get pics with all the guys. :-( But I was able to talk with each and every one of them. This was my first time meeting them all and they were so incredibly wonderful and kind. They all signed my shirt and ticket stub for me.
