The Troub show was awesome - the best so far!

As previously mentioned security was strict about cameras last night so I didn't take any pics but I know my gals Jodie and Kimberly had it covered.

I was lucky enough to win the M & G for the MySpace contest - come on gals (and guys) get your spaces all Juked Up and submit them!!!

Since I had been to the M & G on Saturday, I let Kimberly and Carol have their time with the guys and took all their pics. When we came to Toby, I decided to ask for a pic with him. He asked how come I always wanted a pic with him (duh) and my bud Kimberly said it's because I'm a Picture Whore - so yes, gals that was my nickname for the night.

At the end of the M & G the Merchandise girl was nice enough to take a group pic of us and the entire band - Thanks!

On to the show... just a few highlights:

The crowd was wild and I think this pumped up the guys to give their best show so far. They tore it up! Toby played the intro to Throw it Away acoustic for the first verse then kicked it into Electric and rocked the heck out of it.

Midway through the show Tommy Lee came into the Troub. We had just seen Supernova perform at the Jimmy Kimmel show so we were excited to see him again. Then Lukas walked in and the crowd went wild. Lukas ran on stage and jumped into Toby's arms. Then he went around and gave high fives to the rest of the band.

During the show, Tommy asked if he could take a pic of the crowd - its so cool that they were excited to have a rocking crowd last night!

The set was pretty much the same as Saturday's show and the band seems to be finding themselves more and more comfortable with the performances. If they keep getting better, The December shows are gonna be off the charts.

Hold on gals, you're in for a wild ride!

Last night was great! Much more energetic and focused than San Juan Capistrano, where they seemed like they were finding their feet a bit. I think it helped a lot that they weren't playing a dinner theatre set-up. If you see tables and chairs on the floor at any upcoming shows, do the boys a favor and move that stuff to the side. ;-)

Sorry, no photos from me -- security guy made me take the camera back to my car. :-(

It was nice meeting some of you there -- catch you next time!

PS Show some love to the bands that are opening for JK on the tour, Driveblind and Whitestarr. Well, Whitestarr probably has more love than they know what to do with, but the guys in Driveblind are sweet -- they were selling their own CDs after the show and eager to talk to people.

OMG What a night last night was. I am not teasing you all. It is 7:40pm and I'm still working. Just wanted to pop in and say I will do a full report and upload a few more pictures that I have before I sleep tonight. I promise. I tried to upload pix earlier but photobucket went down. So here is one photo to tide you over. It's a group shot--but ARGH! TOby is missing except for his arms!

As I said amazing night. I took three friends with me--2 of whom hadn't seen the band before (both men) and they were impressed. IN fact Kyle, my business partner's 17 year old son said--wow this is so cool--these guys are going to be big and I'm going to be able to say I say them at the Troubadour when they were just starting out. (From his lips to G-d's ears!)

Later all! I promise tomorrow morning when you all wake up you'll have carol's report and rest of pix.

Okay here's a little bit of my story. I was on of the lucky gals to get a meet and greet with the band before the show. Found out earlier in the day from our head honcho on this board Kelley that I was going to be honored with this opportunity for street teaming efforts. Thank you all involved in allowing this to happen.

So we get to the venue, camera tucked in my purse and we walk up to the door and the guy taking the tickets asked if I had a purse. And I say yes--he asked to look in and says--no camera allowed! I'm thinking "what--you have got to be kidding! I get an opportunity to meet the band and no pictures--this can't be true. So I tell the guy at the door (like he cares--listen I just want to be able to take some pix at this meet and greet thing with the band--honest I promise I won't take any during the show. He says I can't do anything about it. As nicely as I could I ask who could--he points me to another man and says ask my boss--so I go through the whole story with the Troubadour boss and he says "No can do" okay so now I'm thinking do I walk away like I'm taking my camera to the car and then hide it in my bra--what to do? And I look at the Troubador guy and say--is there anyone who can allow me to take this camera into the club tonight? And he points and he says--there that's their tour manager--ask him. I see JK's tour manager talking with a couple of people and politely wait for an opening to introduce myself and state my case. During this time I promised not to take pictures of the guys performing (sorry folks who were hoping this story would end with that) and only take pix during my meet and greet. Persistence and politeness paid off. I got permission to take the camera in--Happy Happy Happy!

So I'm listening to the opening band--who was very good but I can't focus--because I really don't know how the M&G is going down and I don't want to miss it. But soon I hooked up with Steph and Kimberly and Bettina led us upstairs to see them.

I have to say I normally feel like I say the stupidest things when I meet people but these men were so gracious and fun--it was hard to not feel at ease. There is so much I would have liked to have said that I didn't. I would have liked to tell them how easy they are to street team for--Good music, lovely handsome men--certainly makes the job darn easy! But I didn't say that and a hundred other things I could have said. I appreciate how warm and welcoming the guys were. Got hugs from everyone. You already saw the group shot I posted above. Let me stop and take the time to post some pix.

I have to say--Steph is not a picture whore she was so sweet taking mine and Kimberly's picture and passing on time she could have had talking to the guys on her own. MUAH! Steph!

People have already done some concert recapping. So I will just add some additional impressions. The harmonies are so spot on. I was fun to be in front of Dale --because we were by his monitors we could hear him so clear--both guitar and his vocals. Dale you rock!

Then there's Eddie--this man plays some mean drums. In fact I think he played so hard--he gave himself a blister or hurt a finger--I notice at the end of the set--him showing Toby his hand as though to say--I'm done--gotta stop! Hope the hand is okay today Eddie.

Tommy and Todd were across from me but what makes this band so special is you can tell they are having fun and are friends. Todd looks like he is having the time of his life.

Toby--what is there to say--I love his voice. I loved the acoustic opening to Throw It All Away then turning into a jamming version.

I love Robbie's song. Wait a minute was there a song I didn't love?--no I don't think so. The only thing that would have made it even better would have been for them to be able to play longer (poor Eddie--I wouldn't want you to suffer.) and perhaps a tweaking of the sound. I was fortunate to be at the edge of the stage in front of Dale but there were times that Toby's mike wasn't as clear where we were. I don't want to miss a word! ANd I know that man has a voice that cuts through--so I know it was a combo of the club ceiling and being close to Dale's Monitors. But I'm being picky. I had so much fun being that close.

Got to see Toby's face after he did a shot one of the ladies to my left bought him. Don't know what was in it but you know that shudder you do when the liquor hits you. Caught that--Oh man look on Toby's face--didn't stop him though!

Anyway Great show--great moments. My friends are hooked and asking when the CD comes out! All in all an amazing night.

Thanks Kelley, Kellee, Steph, Jodie, Kimberly!

Thanks JK!

Thanks JK tour manager and the guardians at the door for relenting and letting that camera in.

The guys were driving 12 hours to Salt Lake last night--when I look at that tour schedule--It is exhausting! Time to get my gift in the mail to Kelley!

Time for bed! (I promised I'd do this tonight but I didn't think it would take me till 2:30am--Yikes!)

The Troubadour was amazing. The boys were all so nice. They keep getting better and better every time I see them. They need to hurry and get back to LA for some more shows. I hope they have fun going around the US but we'll miss them while there gone.

OK...well, I FINALLY got my pics put on cd, so I can post them...YEA, Troubador was soo much fun, I got in to the pre-show M&G thanks to Stephanie and her awesome Myspace layout. Thanks Steph...(this was not my 1st meeting w/ the guys) but it was definately the most intimate and best as far as funny conversations and such go..(like being called a "cheeky minx" by Toby) ha ha ha. I have a pic w/ each of the guys of course and I also have the group photo, but someone (who I believe wasn't even on the M&G list) was standing next to Toby and was totally sticking out her tounge and crossing her eyes in the pic, so basically it is ruined. Once I get her cropped out of it, I will post it. But here are the others...Again thanks Steph, and thanks Kelley for even having these sorts of "rewards' set up for STers...that is an awesome idea!

Toby and I....he said he was holding out his hand as if to "offer himself up on a platter" ha ha ha. funny boy!

Todd and I.... He was so excited to get on the road

Dale and I...He loved the fact that we were the same height. ha ha

Tommy and I..."F" Yea!!!!

Eddie and I...He just kept saying..."Do I know you...I know you right"? ha ha ha.

Here's a late add to the Troub Show pics.

Since I had just seen the guys at SJC 2 nights before I only asked for a Toby pic (didn't want to hog up the other fans time)

Clearly not the best pic of me, but come on - how hot is this guy! That mouth and those lips are incredibly sexy!

My friend Tina is a ham, so she says "show me some tongue" of course our friend Trish had to be the rebel and smile.

Mind you at this point, this was like 1am, after three days of shows, and about I would say 5 hours of sleep over three days. Well for me that is.
