Ok, I dont have any pics from this night, it was more of a working night for me it seems but since Steph got the fab photos, I'll recount the night.
It started with a panic and horrible travel day but we made it to our flight on time. I will never go to the Phoenix airport on a Sunday ever again.
We were looking pretty haggard, no makeup and hair as we had to rush out and we drove straight an hour to the Pala show once we landed, and proceeded to put on our makeup in the bathroom. I lost my sunglasses in Phoenix so didnt wanna look like ASS and run into anyone in the casino doh!
I had been emailing and talking on the phone a bit with my contact at the Pala Casino. So I feel like we actually sorta became friends--we had exchanged photos before I arrived so she knew exactly who I was when she waived me over at the casino.
Her name is Cece Navarette and she is the coolest chick. She works so hard--had three concerts that week--GooGoo Dolls, Meatloaf and the whole Supernova show!
Anyhoo she gave us a tour and layout of the casino, then took us near the backstage area where her office was while TPC were soundchecking and let us store our stuff there.
Steph and I needed a meal after that and then it was time to go back--get our glow bracelets and get ready for the show.
We met up with Rose outside and between all of us we had a lot of glow. We handed them out to everyone we could get and the response was so great. People were so excited to hear that Toby was there and I heard, "Toby was my favorite" alot of times. While passing stuff out Tina and Jodie made their way in and helped us complete the mission with the glow and chatted peeps up and handed out postcards.
During this we see Todd wheel Dale in the wheelchair near the stage. So then shortly after we hear the wonderful chords of Electric Mary and we make our way to the front row, sit in the empty seats til the lights go down. Lucy sat with us too.
Lights go down, we rush the stage and are front row again for the best show on earth!
I said it about Phoenix but Damn the boys look good on those big screens and I just have perma grin at how proud I am of them. They did Whatcha gonna do, December, Rebel Yell, Burning down the house and TIA acoustic to Electric.
They got undergarments on stage and Toby put a very large padded bra on Tommy's head that looked like Mickey mouse ears on him. Toby said Dale slipped while putting his bra on and broke his foot the previous night, ha ha. Dale rocked on his little stool that night--what a trooper!
During the show Tob took Tina's camera once, Jodies camera once and Steph's too I think. The crowd shot of all of us he took is too funny--well my head was cut off, but it was classic. He touched our hands and I got to hold the mic for one brief second.
A ton of glow is never enough but it did look cool when I looked back to see it all. And surprisingly most everyone was on their feet.
Dilana and Magni were good doing Creep, Zombie, Dilana's Super Soul and whatnot.
Panic channel are great, love Steve Isaacs.
We left just after Supernova did "Personal Jesus" (had to hear that one) as Cece called me to say the JK signing was ON and she had us set for our merch there.
Tommy let Jodie know there was to be a signing too and was worried there'd be nobody there so Jodie and Tina got the word out throughout the casino where the signing would be and directed them there etc as Steph and I set up the merch at the signing table and kept the guys company until the signing was to happen.
Cece was great--got the guys set up with drinks via Misha and this was the MOST ORGANIZED, EFFICIENT signing I had ever seen.
It was a table just for Juke, the whole band to sign--them alone and there was only one way you could enter, one way you could exit, and they had it blocked and we teamers were to make sure nobody jumped over the table and nobody went behind the table, while of course handing out our merch.
We joked with the guys about alot of things and they doled out hugs while they were waiting for the signing and they seemed nervous like nobody would be there--we could see a line forming but only about 5 people.
But lo and behold, it was time to go and they released the rope and let people in and this HUGE line formed for them. They were so happy, and signed and took pics for hours and looked and felt like the rock stars they are!
We were so happy. We put a card, tattoo, sticker in the hand of every person there at the signing. Jodie took alot of photos--candids of the fans with the guys--especially the ones who had no camera and street teamed by telling them to come to jkstreetteam.org to see their photos..........so we hope they come here and sign up!
Maybe we'll get our techie whizzes Angel and Paul to set up a gallery for that.
Poor Cece had been on her feet since 9am and stayed through it all to the end....and didnt even get to eat her dinner! She treated us and the guys like gold and I think the boys were her faves of all the rockers there because they were gentleman!
She made them and US look really good and I am forever grateful. Steph and I were turning into pumpkins so we gave our hugs to the guys goodbye (they thanked us for everything) and made our way out slowly. Then hugged Jodie and Tina goodbye and left them to the gambling...and we passed Lukas at the blackjack table on the way out.
I was so happy because Phoenix was a great Hangout weekend, and we street teamed alot but the venue wasnt as cooperative and I wanted to show the guys how it could be done in my hometown of San Diego. I know alot of people went home with the CD and were new Juke fans!
Mission accomplished!

Awesome shots Jodie, Kellee, Steph and Tina!!! It was great to hang with you ladies at Pala! You did an awesome job working with CeCe and I only hoped that we did close to as well at Long Beach (considering initially there were some issues but we all got them handled!)
Thanks for the fun night and giving me the chance to entertain everyone waiting during the M&G! I had a blast meeting all the new fans!
