Ok. I was @ Shea's, but silly me thought I couldn't bring a camera......therefore I don't have any pix.

But I can tell you it was a hell of show! The boys rocked!

I'll bring my camera next time :)

Well, here's the tale from the weekend... I will be cross-posting this on the JK forums too... sorry for repeating myself!!

Our road trip started at around 1:15… with a heavy foot, lots of tunes, a quick pee break at Tim Hortons in Hamilton, and a booze run at the Duty free, we rolled into Buffalo at around 3:30. While looking for our Hotel, we were awestruck as we drove by Juke Kartel's Tour Buses (recognized from the Toronto Show in December) and realized that it was our hotel that they were parked at, and thus drove right by it! After nearly getting lost, we found the hotel and the theater we would be seeing the boys at, and checked in. While we were so excited to be so close to the boys, and could see their buses from our window, we were not so lucky to catch even a glimpse of them during our stay :(.
We got to Shea's theater about at about 7:10. I was completely gutted to find that there were no dog tags, and no EP's for sale!! There was hoodies and T's, so I did buy a hoodie - very comfy, and totally worth the $50.00.

We found our seats in the theatre, and waited (not so) patiently for the show. I had understood that Juke was the first performance of the evening, so when Dilana opened up when the show started at 8:00 sharp, I was surprised. She did well though - performed 2 or 3 originals, Time after time, and Roxanne, and talked about how she was sharing a bus with Juke Kartel (lucky, lucky lady!!). She departed, saying that she would be in the lobby signing autographs, and that Juke Kartel would be on next.

Within 5 minutes, the show started again - the boys were on stage! Toby made mention the fact that there was so many Canadians there, and welcomed us Canadians very nicely (as a side story, I sent them a Myspace message on Friday afternoon saying that I was coming down from Canada, and Tommy replied to me, thanking me for my support, so, as deluded as I am, I took the Canadian welcome very personally!!) They were on for about 30 minutes as well, playing our favourites Save Me, Throw it Away, December, and to my great surprise Robbie's Song! I hope that this is a sign that it will be on the EP! They also did Burning down the house. I was sad that they didn't play My Baby, but I would never hold that against them !!! They kept us all very entertained - the whole theatre was standing during their entire performance. They were teasing Dilana saying all but 2 of the boys on the bus had kissed her already - again, even if it is not true, what a lucky gal!!

.. -->--> -->There was a 1/2 hour break before Supernova played… during the break, the boys and Dilana were in the lobby taking snaps and signing stuff. I couldn't even get close to them, but as they were walking through the crowd, my friend was able to hi-5 Toby on the way by. I did get a good look at him though (drool!!!).
And then boom - Supernova was on. Contrary to reports that I had been reading online, they were quite good. By the end of the first song, I looked up to the balcony, and saw Juke watching the concert - nice to see that they were able to at least enjoy some of the concert! They weren't up there long - 5 songs at the most. Even though Lukas is Canadian, he barely mentioned the fact that there were so many Canadian's at the show… just another plus for our boys… Like I needed a reason to love them even more!!
About half way through Supernova's set, Lukas was on stage playing some soft tunes, and from out of the right wing came Toby - the crowd freaked out, and started screaming! They sang a tune together (though I am ashamed to admit it, I didn't recognize it….) Lukas over sang it, but Toby sounded great… !!

And that's about it for the exciting stuff…
