My date night with the hubby was great! We got to LA about 30 minutes early and decided to go to the Rainbow Bar to grab a drink. Surprise, surprise....we walked in and quickly spotted Tommy, Toby, and Dale sitting at a table with friends. We said our quick hello and headed to the bar. Got ourselves a refreshing beer and jack and coke and sat down at a nearby table. Hubby decided to walk over and find out what time the guys were playing, since we were a bit surprised that they were there so close to play time. It turns out, the guys got pushed back 30-45 minutes. So, hubby and I enjoyed our drinks and watched basketball on tv for a bit.

We walked back to the venue. The venue was half full at the time. I was afraid the turnout would be a disappointment for the guys. After a bit, the guys came on and the venue filled up pretty quick. The guys rocked the house as usual. I believe they played TIA, Save Me, My Baby, Canvas Satellite and maybe 1 more song...can't recall at the moment. I'm sad to say that I didn't get any pics this time around. I didn't realize that the battery for my camera was non existant until then. :( boo hoo hoo.

We hung out about half an hour after the guys played to see the Darling Stilletos, but had to leave soon after they started since hubby had to be at work in 5 hours. On our way out, we said goodbye to Tommy, Toby and Dale. Running into them was a real treat since I didn't think I would see them after the show.

So, although it was a quick date night for me and the hubby, it was well worth it seeing the boys perform once again. Can't wait for the next show!

:wub: Anna you rock we can always rely on you to give us our JK fix. That bites about the camera but at least you got to rock out to the gig with no distractions URRU

thanks for the reveiw Anna dont worry i had a simliar delama with my camera at the espy this year all i got was like ten photos until it decided it wanted to be almost flat so i stopped and enjoyed the night only cause it was incase i ran into any of the guys so i have learnt bring extra camera and make shore first camera is fully charged

Glad it filled up for them, they know how to pack a room and keep them coming back for more!
I haven't seen anyone pack out the Annandale in Sydney like the boys did! You didn't want to move for fear of not getting back in!

You are very lucky Anna. Mine has tagged along a few times, his reason "It beats staying home". I think that he doesn't mind JK, it's that he just doesn't understand why we would want to see the same band over and over again and in such a short period of time.

yea i have the same thing Nikki my parents are like why do you want to see the band more than once dont yea think one is enough and im like nope dads like all you are gonna get is same songs played again and im like so i love hearing the guys live i just wished my family lived in melbourne then i would of been able to seen them more often rather than twice a year well last year was like 3 but still i just want to be in JKs presents that is all

Yeah, I justify going everytime by saying that JK never performs the same. Each show is original. It's like seeing them for the first time....over and over again. :)

I am very lucky to have such a great hubby.

to me i think JK just get better and better each time i see them well the first time yea i didnt know the words to any of the songs but now its only their new songs that i have heard and havent atm
