I called you last night kim....while they were playing the new song. Dont know if you answered or not, I just dialed then held phone up. It was to loud to hear if you were on the other end or not. I hope you heard it. :)

Well Well Well....I am so tired today. It took 4 hours to get home.. I got a little lost then ran into all sorts of road blocks and detours. It was crazy. but worth it.

So it was pooring rain last night and it took FOREVER to get to the show I was so worried we were going to miss it. Luckily we made it just in time for a few beers before the boys went on.

I dont know where eveyone was at....dont know if you they were afraid of the rain, or saving money for xmas, living in a cave or what.....but they werent at the Viper Room.....

The boys kept kind of wondering out and around, Tommy came over and ordered a beer at the bar by us and said Hi... after the 1st band ended all of the boys started to come out and load the stage with all there goods. They all said hi. Todd said "we got some newies for ya tonight Jenn"... I was so excited to hear that. Dale was carrying two guitar cases I told him " you guys dont have people carrying that shit for you guys yet" he laghed and handed me his guitar case. hahahah Funny guy

People finally started showing up little by little. I was looking everywhere for Anna, couldnt believe she wasnt there :(

Anyway they started with Canvas Satelite Then I think it went December, new song (ever young? or Forever young?) VERY COOL song, I got video of it...If only, Save me and T.I.A. I think thats how it went.

Toby was super funny, cracking jokes in between every song and wishing us all a merry christmas. Hes a crack up.

They sounded killer!!! They really sounded Good...

After they played they all mingled for a few and loaded up the gear then everyone headed over to the RAINBOW (fun bar) a couple blocks away.

I Stoped at the Hollywood Hustler Store where my sister in law works and got toby an early bday pressie....A funny shrit, he seemed to get a kick out of it.

Once we got to the Rainbow, everyone was already there. Had a chat with them all. It was fun. Tommy seemed pretty smashed. LOL and he spilled his drink on the bar next to me and got my purse all liquoured up...."YOUR LUCKY YOU DIDNT GET MY CAMERA TOMMY>>>I MIGHT HAVE TO CUT YOU>"LOL

It was a good time...My neighbor that went with me...LOVES THEM she wants me to take her To EVERY show from now on......

I have some fun pics to share...but really dont feel like hasseling with photobucket right now.

OH yeah....dale did Highway to hell.....LOVE THAT..... I think I got a little video of that too.

Even though it took 3 1/2 hours to get there and 4 to get home.....Im so glad I went!!!

So sad I missed it. With the bad weather, traffic and my hubby working in the morning, we decided it would be more practical to stay home. It sounds like it was a wise decision since it took Jenn 3 hours to get there and 4 hours to get home. I think we live just a little bit further than Jenn. Hubby wouldn't have been able to get any sleep before work. I hate that I missed the new song and hanging with the guys after the show. Just my luck that it would happen when I'm not there. Boo hoo hoo for me.

Glad that you had a great time Jenn. Can't wait to see your pics.

Yes the new song is an old one revamped....Everyoung....we were lucky enough to hear it here in Aus at one of the shows...I think it was the Greyhound. I loved it but apparently it's changed quite a bit. Can't wait to hear it!

Actually checking back on my reviews it was played at Gunnamatta not GH...and it was only ever called Everyoung.

FTG (Oct 2007) was my first gig, going there only knowing TIA. Bought the EP that night and FELL head OVER heels for DECEMBER listening to it the next day (with a god almighty hang over, driving hours to Stawell, for bloody Car racing, to keep the peace with Hubby..lol)
So going to Gunna, I knew TIA and December... the rest is a little bit of a blur. So Come The Greyhound I HAD listened to a few more songs.....
