Flyer drops promoting the JK Return To Australia Tour gigs
We're gonna need all hands on deck for this task so if anyone can spare their time and will be in the locality of any of the Oz shows, please raise your hand.
I'll be getting a flyer together that will be low cost to print....2 banners to an A4 size sheet. It would be sooo awesome to sell these babies out for the boys!! Let's get the Aussie Juggernaut out of sleep-mode and go at it, lovelies! We'll show the boys how much we've missed them! :)

I am a little too far away from any gigs to flyer drop but if I can help in ANY other way, let me know!
Great, girls...will let you know as things progress. Even dropping them in your area couldn't hurt...that's if you can't get near the venues. :)

Here's the download link for the Aus Tour Flyer.
Print it to your basic A4 size in B & W and cut in half...hope that's not too much of a hassle but it will save on resources :)

I think it was Danni and her friend, they were leaving at the same time as me. She gave a heap to the security guy and he said he would hand them out as ppl were leaving and the rest she put on the cars!
(I wasn't an 'active' member here at that time, so I had no flyers)
I thought Muriels idea (on Facebook) to stick a flyer on the inside of the car window was a great idea. I have dark (darker than legal) tinted windows on my car, so I don't think it would be seen.

I think for the Melb shows flyers would be great tp drop around St Kilda...its always busy....train stations?? anywhere...

im bumped cause i cant help much with any gigs cause i live in Albury about 4 hours away from melb and 6 hours from sydney, but if it was different like if there were an apperance in alburys new JB HI FI then yea then i could just tell a bunch of people get them to tell others and sow on and maybe if i was lucky have a poster on a wall at work which is maccas thats not to fare away from JB HI FI and plus this store is like very close to the main street of albury so people would bound to here you guys. im just saying.
still bumped i cant help out,but i do think i got another JK fan which is my cuz as shes wanting to go to the two gigs with me.

i didnt realise i was already help promoting JKs tour cause im already braging at work about it and saying how good the guys are when performing and with their fans.
i have posted the poster on my facebook, so yer each time i go to work i have always managed to bring up the JK gigs im going to and some are like have fun or what about your car i thought you were saving up for a car, i am still i have worked out how many hours i need in the last two weeks before i head to melb to get the amount i want, and doubled it which includes the car money to.
I think some of my friends are feeling a bit the same....But I do have a JK 'Virgin' coming with me to a gig, she is very excited! (Leave the wingeing husband as home..lol)

Or you could do what I did and get a tonne made to give out at shows but keep a dozen for yourself and plaster the back of your car with them........good promotion and Tobes said when he was in perth that someone had mentioned my car!!!

My brother is working on The Mornington Penninsula this week and he is going to drop some flyers about (windows of Take Away food places etc) Hopefully will draw 'Holiday Makers' to the Frankston Gig (I know I was looking for some 'entertainment' when I was in my late teens when I was at Rosebud.. I saw Hunters and Collectors at the 21st on New Years day, way back then!) I am hoping to get to Rosebud to visit my cousin in the first week of Jan, If I do I will drop some flyers from Rosebud and back to Franga!
(I left some flyers under the wipers of Cars at Eastland S/C this week, coz I'm such a 'Wuss' I left them in the upper Carpark... it was darker there! Left a few in the Tea room at work too, they all knew it was me!)

My flyer fairy forgot to send me mine but I managed to print out a few before the ink ran out so took some to work and put one in the window, JB HIFI aren't that keen on helping are they hey but they do have a stand out the front that has all the beat mags and other publications so I put a little stash of flyers there :gigg:

Pity there was no Geelong gig this time around. I could have 'flyered' hundreds of Cars in the Car Park at Avalon Speedway on Saturday night!
Kristy (the JK virgin that came with me last week) she has been posting JK tour links on her FB profile... one of her comments was. "Thanks for getting me hooked on these guys Nikki...gees!!!" She used to live not far from Daylesford (Hepburn Springs) she is plugging JK to her friends that still live up that way. She said the small town she lived in was so boring, that everyone looked for entertainment in other places.

In the Car last week, Kristy asked me If I actually liked thier music or was it the 5 guys in the band? I said it is the only CD I have on the CD player in my car. (Jodi was giggling in the back, she has been to a number if gigs with me). She told me during the night that she LOVED their music!

The kids and I went on a drive to Hepburn Springs yesterday and flyered shops, noticeboards etc. We letterboxed far & wide as well. Got lost several hundred times but evs....we reached our objective :)

Once you hit Hepburn Springs it's on the main drag so very easy to find.
You take the Ballan, Daylesford exit off the Western Hwy....really straightforward, Fee.
Oh trip and a half....took us 6 hours....I was done in on the last leg, so were the kids lol

Lorena and I just spent this afternoon observing very fit gorgeous men on bikes while we were making Williamstown pretty with JK posters :)
We didn't realise there was a bike race on today so there were HEAPS of people walking around and watching us fight with the sticky tape lol.
We put them on the inside of public toilets and on the information booth and well anywhere that appeared to be a public display board etc

I could only manage to leave a few in my suburb. Fish and chip shops etc and the small record store. I won't make it to Rosebud as I had hoped I would.
