Bugger...glad the boys are home, but its 0/5 for me at the moment. Just can't afford to travel anywhere in January other than home state and driving distance. Pity it wasn't March/April tour - I'd be right by then.
Congrats to all you guys who have one or more shows to go see the boys while they're home. I'm a bit sad :(

I'm doing them all woooooooooo hoooooooooo Christmas came early!!!
Might have to chat to Pete in the next couple of days...I wouldn't mind doing Sydney and it's not far from the airport so I can do the fly by like I did for Dana's birthday for the Gaelic...are there any birthday celebrations that night? haha.

the only thing im worried about is getting the tickets cause i dont want to end up going down and not getting in cause they maybe sold out, it would be good if i knew where tickets where been sold so my cuz could get them or if someone in melb can do me a huge favor in buying them for me and my cuz and on the night paying em back or even if it could be arranged for two tickets to the espy and the one after it could be put aside under my name, i had this done for another gig i went to and ill i did was payed for the ticket when i got to the door.
Next shift im doing with also be put my name down for a week off work.

Yay! Glad toby is coming back... bit weird about only one sydney gig and the rest is vic... kinda sucky! But ill be at the annandale with bells on :D atleast maccas is across the road :)

addy yea i got it im just abit of worry wort of the worst thing that could happen but its still abit early to organise in getting the tickets, but im still now going to register off work and see a time to call my cuz and organise me staying with her and what not.
looking forward to the two gigs tho the epsy is gonna be like my anniversary as that night will be a year ago since i first meet the guys at wagga same night diff date but still.
also i guess im just over excited i cant help it sorry

Karl doesn't share my enthusiasm on this matter. But Im still trying (Im on Holz, he isn't) and have had sooo many Bills this month and We (I mean Santa) have to buy a Wii for the boys for Xmas!

atm im trying to contact my cuz so i can try get tickets for her and myself but i just need to know if she wants to go as she cant receive my texts on my phone so i tried dads phone with my sim card but im still waiting and because i dont want to catch her at a bad time. cause if i am able to get the tickets online i know i wont waste my money if she cant go.

I know, Probably Milano's and Frankston. I am bridesmaid (or at my age, am I Matron of honour?) in a wedding the day after the Espy. I need to look my best (I need all the help I can get!!), so I will need an early night on the Friday night!

question what do you all think if i asked the people at Milanos if a ticket/seat could be resevred and not payed when i call cause my cuz is unshore about her job cause she wants to go but its just the shifts shes unshore cause its early to tell
Brooka, I don't think Milano's will do that. As it's a different type of venue to the usual ones like Espy etc, they take bookings and they are paid over the phone with credit card. Last time, the tables were booked pretty fast and it sold out. What were you looking at buying...dinner and show or just show? If you're wanting to book dinner and show, you'll have to get in quick but if it's just a show then I would say to wait until you hear back from your cousin about her shift and then book the show. If things don't work out and your cousin can't attend, I'm sure you'll have no problems selling her ticket so I would suggest to just buy 2 tickets.

show and dinner, maybe selling it would be good but she still wants to go, but yea ill still get two so incase shes lucky to not get a shift that night cause i have told her to tell them about the event so they may do her a favor but she say on average they dont put her on tuesday nights so ill get two tickets and just get her to write her boss a letter, but if i do have to sell it i do think it`ll be hard cause my cuz may not have internet at her apartment.
but im shore ill figure something out, my parents are buying the tickets for me as i dont own a credit card so ill get dad to call Milano's.
also i havent meet alot of you only like two people and would like to meet more of you over the two gigs.and that my parents wont get the tickets till monday cause they think call in business hours.
still being anouying to store manager shes incharge of registering off work, i always do as soon as i find out about gigs so i know i got em. now im saving like mad so i can go shopping
also it wouldnt hurt to ask them, about it, yet again ill just buy two and i do hope i can sell it but that is only if my cuz cant make it but i got a gut feeling she will

It's nothing special, it's smaller than the Gaelic and they have a pretty tight curfew. I think everyone was out the doors at midnight for the Stone Parade gig. But then again, they might extend the curfew for the JK gig.
Cool sounds good Nev...except for the curfew so hopefully they don't have one with JK.
Does anybody know if there's a support for the Annadale gig? I'm pondering driving down, then driving back after the gig.

Oh 2 hours is nothing...yeah defintiely try and come down for it. Gotta love the dad's babysitting hey? lol. Pete and I usually go through the dates and we work out which ones we can both go to and have his mum baby sit and which ones he has to stay home with Nicky while I go....those ones are the girls nights out. lol.

Stone parade, that should be good! after walking from central to the annandale on friday night for another gig.. I dont suggest doing it! 40 mins later! Theres buses from central to the annandale, also caught a taxi from the annandale to central... was only $11.00 .
Good thing is- Maccas is across the road!!! ( as the annandale down, have a weird "yum cha" food area.. instead of the normal pub food!)

Maybe its cheaper to play there?! the annandale is not as good of a venue compared to gaelic ( well i think).. although lansdowne dont charge bands to play.. free!
Although, who cares.. juke kartel are coming!!! Plus, we usually end of having stinky kebabs from the shop around the corner from the gaelic, now we can have mcdonalds!

Strict 11.50 curfew because it is a residential area....
The Pub Cha food is good...well...it used to be.
I like the smaller venue, and the courtyard there.
Paris, it is probably a bit similar to the Step Inn setup...walk in off the main road ...SMALLER bar area to the right and BIGGER band room to the left and a restaurant out the back.

Brooka it won't matter that the credit card is in your dads name as they post the tickets out. I just picked up mine from the post office. Hope this helps xx

got my tickets for the last two shows now i can relax a lil and just get excited, now all i have to do is save save save well after tomorrows last chrissy shoping then the saving will grow, but then theres train tickets and yea haha i have done good so fare
the only thing is with my reveiws would prob wont be as different as those who are also going to the espy and Milanos my reveiw will not be put up till prob 22nd or 23rd of Jan cause im spending a week with my cuz cause the last two times i only spent 2 nights and i usually head down in the afternoon so yer maybe the times will be different and no delays like the last two were hate it.

the reason why i asked is cause my cuz parents own a gloria Jeans and my cuz usually closes it about 6:30 and it takes her awhile to get what she needs done.
and ill keep an eye out for the door times as ive bought tickets for the dinner part as well still awhile yet but still.

ok i just got a text from my cuz, which has sett me back i got tickets for the both of us to both gigs but she now says that she is only going to one which is the espy so i maybe offering to selling her ticket for the dinner and show for the same price $55 if you are interested let me know but its not a go yet ill be talking to her on Christmas day and will prob let you people know which is a bummer that now i have to sell it soon.
now im becoming afraid that im going to find it hard to sell it, but ill have to post again to say yea im going to sell it anyone interested or no shes still interested in going and that she is, if i do end up selling it could someone help me find someone to sell it to cause i guess i dont want the place to have an empty seat. and that now i will have to find some girls to sit with as i dont want to sit alone with people i dont know.
so one let me know if you want the ticket, if it does go up for sale
and two to who could help me find someone who wants to buy it.
